Chapter 13

Calum

Shit, shit, shit. This can't happen. Except, this didn't feel right. I was in pain but I didn't feel anything inside me change.

I'm not sure how to describe but it just didn't feel right.

Then again, it did take a couple of hours to days to turn...

"Jemm..." I spoke through pain.

"Y-yes?" She wiped her tears and got up from crying into my chest.

"I need you to shoot me," A tear fell down from my face. "What? Are you crazy! I'm not fucking doing that!" She yelled at me.

"Jemma I'm going to turn, one way or the other. You need to kill me."

"What about the others? What about Michael, Ashton, and Luke? They deserve to know more than anyone else. They should be the ones to do it.." She shook her head helping me up.

It was pratically impossible for me to get up, I kept screaming in pain. I've seen people get bit and it's definitely not fun. I cried out in so much pain that I felt like I was going to pass out.

Jemma tried to help but I kept pushing her away, I didn't want her to see me like this. A gunshot was fired and it went through my lower stomach.

Then I passed out.

I woke up in a room, I attempted to get up but I felt something pull me back down. I looked down at my arms and saw ropes holding me down. Pain shot through my lower abdomen -Oh right, the gunshot.-

I could voices and crying coming from down stairs. They all sounded familiar. The crying sounded like Luke, Michael, and Ashton. The voices sounded like Jemma, Arden, Ali, and Ellie and they seemed to be comforting the boys. Baby cries that belonged to Bella also echoed through the house.

I tried speaking but my throat felt so dry. I couldn't speak. Footsteps were coming up the stairs.

"Help.." I croaked "Help" I whispered.

"Did you hear that?!" It sounded like Adren.

The door bursted open and Michael stared in shock. His eyes were bloodshot and his cheeks were tear stained.

"Calum...what? How is this possible?"

"Mikey...it takes days to turn.."

"Calum...you've been asleep for almost a month."

Everyone came running up the stairs.

"I knew it.." Ellie spoke softly

Everyone turned to her with a confused expression.

"Calum is the cure."

So I'm shit at updating (obviously) and I really can't promise anything but what I CAN promise is that I'll try my best to make this story worth the late updates.

This chapter was extremely rushed but only because I want to start getting into action and less fluff.
