"What the hell do you mean, he's the cure?" I more so shouted than asked

"I mean...the day Luke found me in the woods was also the day they found out. Keepers is what we called them. They kept us in a secluded area, hence why we named them Keepers. Anyways getting back to the point, back when this all started so almost a year now - government officials, doctors, and really anyone at that point were trying to figure how, when, why, and what-"

Ellie spoke with much confidence and who in hell knows where it came from. She put down her bag and pulled out a journal. She opened it up sitting next to Calum, "How did this all happen. When did this all happen. Why did this all happen. And what caused this to happen. You see, when the keepers held us hostage they didn't let us go  considering we were their testables - so they gave us something to do - they did everything in their power to figure out why were immune to the infection. So-"

She flipped to another page in the book and continued to talk, "When they gave us our entertainment stuff they gave us things that we enjoyed. Me, I love to read and write. Sounds cheesy, I know but it was always something that kept me away from life. But, instead of writing I kept the journal as a progress report. Saying what happened each moment of everyday."

A moment of silence until she continued, "Anyways, they tried everything until one day a group I was in overheard doctors saying they were going to kill us and take our blood for their own. They were insane."

She took a moment to breath then continued, "They experimented on us day and night and treated us like aliens. It was awful. While I was there I became close a guy named Aaden, we became best friends. He was really the one I could trust and talk to after learning that the doctors had already killed their first subject, my sister. I soon learned that I was next to be killed but turns out it was a misshappen I wasn't supposed to be killed, it was supposed to be Aaden. I was too weak, my body strength and just me in general wasn't "good enough" for them."

Again silence until continued, "They wanted someone who had a strong and healthy body, so Aaden. They looked through many hospital files, stumbling into Calum's. They knew about 5sos so they did research. They figured out he was one of the strongest and tried searching for him but never did so they gave up. Anyways, that delayed Laurence's deathbed so that gave us time to find a way out - which we did - But got caught. Let's just say, feelings were admitted for each other that night but only one of us came out alive and it's obvious who it was. Anyways, what I'm trying to say is - we need to make the Keepers don't find Calum. Or else bad things will happen."

Ellie didn't realise she was crying until Calum put his arm around her and hugged her, "El, it's not just me we're going to protect. We're gonna protect both of us. I'm not gonna let anything happen to either of us. If you and I are truly they cure, then we're going to figure it out ourselved not with some asshole scientists."

She smiled and kissed his cheek causing him to blush but that didn't stop Ashton from lashing out on the poor girl, "What the fuck."

We assumed it was just a reaction but we were wrong, he let out a side of him that I've never seen in the four years I've known him, "You knew about this the entire time and you didn't bother to fucking tell us? What if those damn keepers or whatever their called found us? They're looking for you, aren't they? I know you're leading them here, stop with this damn goodie goodie act because I'm not believing it for one damn bit." Ashton pinned her to a wall and if Luke didn't almost kill Ashton then Ellie looked like she could have passed out from the panic attack she was having.

Angry sides were once again released, Luke threw Ashton to the floor and kept punching and kicking at him. Calum and I reacted by pulled them apart before someone died, Jemma and Arden stepped in before Ashton pulled out his knife, and Ali got Bella and Ellie and pulled them to another room.

I was still struggling to keep them apart even with the help of three other people but I remembered we raided a police station the other day and I stole the handcuffs as a joke but I guess today was the day they were actually useful. I dragged Ashton to the bed post and handcuffed him to it.

Everything seemed to settle for a second until mistakes were made once again, "I wish you never brought her here, you should have left her to die."

And once again we had to hold them back together until Ali barged in looking pissed as ever, "I'm glad I raided that vet the other day because now these come into handy." She pulled an injection serum and stabbed them both with it not giving us anytime to stop her.
