Chapter 5

Michael

"Best friends." Arden laughed

I smiled and grabbed her hand. I pulled her over to my campsite that I share with my 3 best friends.

Their all I have left.

*flashback*

"Thank you Brisbane!" I screamed into the mic

"You've all been an amazing audience!" Calum yelled

"Yeah! Thanks for supporting us!" Luke spoke up

"Yeah we wouldn't be here without you!" Ashton said.

Then the show ended.

Everyone backstage congratulated us on the amazing show we just Played.

We said our thanks You's and entered our dressing rooms.

"Im really tired" Ashton yawned, rubbing his eyes lazily.

The rest of us mummered in agreement and decided to head back to the hotel.

Right when my head hit the pillow I knocked out.

*the next morning*

"Boys wake up" a voice said

I slowly fluttered my eyes opened and Ashton was standing at the door with a frantic look on his face

"Something's wrong" he shakily said

All three of us quickly changed and followed Ashton out the hotel.

"GET BACK INSIDE HURRY BEFORE IT'S TOO LA-" a police officer was yelling.

He was shooting something I thought I only would ever see in my video games.

Walkers.

We ran back inside.

"Guys this isn't funny stop playing around" I said

"W-we aren't playing" Calum said

"You mean....this is real?" I said

"No it can't be" I said a little too loudly

"Mikey calm down...we're gonna be okay" Luke's voice cracked

"NO WHAT ABOUT OUR FAMILIES? OUR FRIENDS?" I yelled

"Our fans..." I whispered

"I-I don't know....but we'll find a way back" Luke softly said

"We should never make promises we can't keep"

*flashback over*

I didn't realize I was crying until Arden was snapping me out of my day dream.

"Michael...what's wrong?" She asked concered

"N-nothing...just old memories got to me a bit"

"You sure?"

"Yeah"

We continued walking in silence until we reached our camp.

Walkers we're in our camp.

But where are the boys?
