When John had Harold the 'Sache, Mary tried shaving it off in his sleep. She only succeeded in shaving off half of it, because that's when John jolted awake, wondering why his upper lip was feeling lighter. He shrugged it off, then Mary shaved the rest off. Just so he wouldn't notice that it was gone, Mary filled it in with permanent brown Magic Marker.
