Yuuki and Flora sit together in the living room. The house has recently been in a blackout for 3 hours.
"This is the first time we've had a blackout, huh?" says Flora.
"Yeah," replies Yuuki. "The rain's been really pouring down lately."
He pauses for a short moment before continuing his sentence.
"I guess even the electric infrastructure can't endure this much rain."
Flora silently agrees with Yuuki. She sighs and grunts about the rain, like she usually does. But what can they do? Magically restore the power? Hard-wire the switch and somehow turn the lights back on? All she, and Yuuki, can do now is just wait until the power returns. But what about going out somewhere...?
Right after that, Charles comes with a tray of tea and biscuits; also with a big jug and three glasses.
"I read that the hard rain and wind have caused the power grid to fail. They're trying to conduct maintenance right now." Charles reports.
"Is that so...?"
Charles then puts the tray down and arranges the glasses as such that everyone gets one each. The drink is then poured by Yuuki.
"Thanks Yuuki."
"Thank you, master."
Both Flora and Charles remark on Yuuki's kindness. He simply smiles as a response - a genuine smile.
Several candles lit some parts of the house and the hard rain gave off some cold vibes. Yuuki, Flora, and Charles enjoy the treats as they wait for the light to turn back on. Hopefully so.
It should be back on in about 2-3 hours.
