**Gone**

Here is a poem i wrote ages ago, but couldn't find the time to post

Looking into her eyes,

You find nothing, nothing at all.

Those glassy eyes,

Emotionless.

You try to add colour to her life,

But nothing seems to work.

Her eyes are still empty,

Not a glimmer of hope their lies.

You watch a tear escape,

But nothing is revealed.

Her eyes still lost,

With no goal in sight.

You wonder what she has gone through,

What could make her like this.

But you can think of nothing,

With such a cruel twist.

Mesmerised are you,

Drawn into her eyes.

You stare long and hard,

Finding what she has to hide.

Deeper and deeper you drift,

The more sorrow you see.

You realize that she has been lost,

Lost in her timeless abyss.

No emotions show, no feelings found,

Never again would she smile.
