Chapter 10

"I am Nora. Your personal assistant and personal maid. Let me serve you with the best of my abilities." Nora, her new personal assistant glared at Virgo; while Virgo did not show any reaction.

Nora is an elf from the outskirts of Earthland. With no family, she became part of a nomadic tribe. Till one day, she found Andromeda. The rest was history. She has burgundy hair that reached up to her waist and was curled up to a bun. Her maid outfit was distinctively different from the ones Lucy first saw.

"Hello Nora, pleasure to meet you. I am Lucy Heartfillia." Lucy walked forward while Nora bowed in return.

Lucy walked pass by Nora, chin high and straight body. A mark of an empress on it's way. Once again, Nora gave a disgusting glare at Virgo. She walked behind Virgo, leading them to the Empress' new room.

After about 5 minutes of unbearable walking, the palace never lost its diverse space. Lucy clearly knew it would take months or years to completely memorise the whole palace. They stopped in front of the door, which was plated with gold and the crest of Knowhere.

Nora gave a fake cough and said, "Lucy-sama, this will be your new room. Please let me know if you need anything. There will be a telephone, that will allow you to reach anyone in the Palace. Before I go, Queen Cassiopeia requests your attendance with the Senate." She used a different tone to the word Senate, which confused Lucy a bit.

"Alright. I will be there in 40. Please assist me by then." The extra maids opened the door to reveal the size of the bedroom.

(A/N Okay, I'm not gonna describe the layout of the bed. Just think it's 1000 square meters. :) I'm letting you decide what it looks like.)

After 40 minutes....

"Lucy-sama, it's time. I do hope you are dress at its best." The doors fling open, making Lucy flinch in surprise.

"Of course, I'm always dressed at my best." Lucy walked towards the room to leave, while Virgo was still fixing the room.

Lucy sighed, "Virgo, you can go back to the Celestial World for now. Your gate has been open for almost 24 hours."

Virgo remained quiet, bowed and disappeared in a puff of smoke. Soon, Lucy and Nora left to meet the Senate.

The sound of clanking heels only passed through the halls, not even a voice or any signs of someone in the way.

"Nora, I have seen you glare at Virgo for some quite of time now. Why is that?"

"Lucy-sama, it's very complicated story. It was way back when I was a little kid. I do not think she even remembers it." Nora smiles sadly, looking down at the floor.

Lucy eyes her widely, "Tell me about it."

"Of course, Lucy-sama." Nora smiles at her again and told her the story.

"Do we have any leads?" Erza and everyone was pacing back and forth frantically, searching where Lucy might've gone to.

In the counter, Natsu was begging Master Makarov if his team could bring her back. Makarov was smoking his pipe, knowing where she exactly is.

"Alright, you may only have a month to find her. I'm not being greedy or anything, but if she erased her insignia by her own, it truly means that she has deep hatred to it." Makarov has his eyes closed, indulging at the smoke he emits.

Natsu wonders, "What's with the time limit, Gramps?" Makarov opens his eyes, signalling him to move on with his day.

He promised to himself that in a less of month, his princess will come back.

Or will she?

"Lucy-sama, when you open this door, it absolutely means death. I don't mean that you will die.....But, the Senate is so powerful, their body emits great power." Nora warned her, after telling her the story that scarred her for life.

Lucy scoffed, "Don't worry, I'll leave that place just fine."

She opened the doors and braced herself for the worst. The entrance to the meeting place was extremely placed with tension and magic. It had very dimmed lighting that even made it worse.

"It seems our future queen has arrived." A voice echoed through the room, while all the other members of the Senate were looking at her.

"Welcome Lucy Heartfillia, to the heart and brain of Knowhere." A familiar voice echoed through the dark room, it was the queen's voice.

Through the darkness, she smiled and said, "I am indeed very welcome here, despite your likeness to dim lighting." She gave a very sarcastic joke.

"Lumines, can you please adjust the lighting?" The queen's laughter echoed, while the others followed. A simple "yes" followed and the light did adjusted, showing the members of the senate.

There were five other people, excluding the Queen that showed up. All of them looked dangerously strong and also smart. No, possible way to even persuade them out of misery.

"Lucy Heartfillia, we know why you came here. Don't possibly even hide it. We have decided to execute you." An old man with long white beard in a formal kimono said, making Lucy shiver in fear.

"That is correct, unless you lend your body and mind to us. Maybe you will live after that." Another one said.

Queen Cassiopeia let out an evil grin, "What do you say Lucy? Die or become one of us? The decision is yours."

Lucy already knew her answer even before leaving. She was in big trouble, as she came into a conclusion: Someone set her up.

With the story concluded by Nora, it wasn't hard to understand to realise their hatred.

Was this really the right way?
