THIRD PERSON POV
"NEXT week will be our foundation week, and we will have our Parents day on the Saturday. Please inform your parents about it. Okay? Bring your mom and dad. I will be expecting to see both of your parents since it is a weekend."
Mrs.Ahn, Myeonji's teacher, announced and everyone in the class got excited.
But not all of them.
A little girl wasn't excited for the up coming event. More likely, she's feeling sad, especially when she overheard her classmates conversation.
"Dad said that he will take a leave from his work so that he could come."
"My mom too. She said that they will attend. I'm so excited!"
"How about you Myeonji? Is your mom coming?" Fany, her friend, asked.
She smiled timidly.
"W-well.. I'm sure mom's gonna come.. I already told her about it.." Myeonji hesitantly answered.
"Well, mom and dad are coming. They said and promised that they will come this time. I'm sure they will. Too bad for those who doesn't have a dad." One of her classmate said, a little too loud.
Heeyeon, her classmate, looked at her with a smug look on her face. When she saw that Myeonji was also looking at her direction with a bitter exoression, she walked towards her place with her arms crossed.
"Oh! so your mom will come. But how about your dad Myeon— oops! I'm sorry, but you don't have a dad, right?" Heeyeon said, slightly covering her mouth as if she was shock or sorry for what she had said.
"Shut up Heeyeon! Just go away!" Fany said as she slightly pushed Heeyeon away.
"What? I was just asking. What's wrong about that? It's true anyway." Heeyeon said and rolled her eyes. Heeyeon's friend laughed, as they agreed with her.
"It's none of your business Heeyeon. So what if I don't have a father? At least I have a cool and loving mom who is always there for me. How about you? You have your mom and dad with you, but they never picked you up or send you here at school. Unlike my mom, who never fails to sent me here everyday. She's always there when there is an event here in the school. How about your parents? Too busy with your business? I doubt they'll have the time to come next week." Myeonji angrily said, making Heeyeon offended and furious.
"At least I have both of my parents. Unlike you! Who haven't knew her father ever since!" Heeyeon countered.
They caught everyone's attention, even their teacher who is now walking her way to them. But before she could arrive,
*bogsh!*
"At least my mom has time for me, unlike yours!"
Myeonji punched Heeyeon on her face, making the other one cry.
"W-why did you punched her Myeonji?" Mrs.Ahn unbelievably asked, while making a gasp.
Myeonji turned her gaze on her teacher and smiled. "I hate her and I hate her guts. That's all. Can I go now, miss? My mom's friend is outside, waiting for me."
The teacher can't utter a word. She was shocked with Myeonji's answer. She wasn't expecting that kind of answer from a seven year old kid!
"Myeonji, you know that what you did was wrong. I will talk to your mom." Mrs.Ahn finally said.
"You stay here, and I know that no one you know is out there. You too, Heeyeon. I will talk to your parents. You have an attitude problem missy. You two you are staying here." Mrs.Ahn added.
