THIRD PERSONS POV

"MOM? Are you alright? Are you having a fight with Lu-appa?" Myeonji asked as she peeked her head outside her room.

Eunji was a bit shock, but then composed herself and smiled to her daughter.

"Yes, but we settled everything. We are okay now, I think. Hey come here." Eunji spreaded her arms to welcome her daughter who immedietly ran towards her with a smile.

The moment her daughter hugged her, the kid asked her a question. "Mom, what happened to uncle Suho? Is he alright? He seems sick awhile ago. Can we visit him?"

Eunji can't find her tongue and just looked at her daughter blankly.

"Mom? Can we?" Myeonji repeated.

"A-ah no we can't. Uncle Suho said after he left that he will just rest. Don't worry he with hid fiancé, she would take good care of him." There was a sting inside Eunji when the scenes awhile ago suddenly flashed.

"Well I hope he'll be okay. I felt hurt when I saw him earlier, especially when he cried. Mom, I felt like crying too... I don't want to see him crying like that again." Myeonji said to her mother with a teary eye.

"Ssshh. Don't cry. I know that he'll get better. He just needs rest." Eunji said, trying to ease her daughter from crying..

Does she really felt that way? But why? Is that what they call 'daughter instinct'?

But Myeonji can't hold her tears, and started to cry.

"Mom, I feel pity towards uncle Suho. I wanna see him and give him some hug. I am sure he needs it. Can we visit him tomorrow? Please...I just want to see him, and make sure that his okay." Myeonji cried into Eunji chest.

The mother couldn't do anything for her child, but to give her a hug and asked sorry in her thoughts.

I'm sorry baby. I hope you could understand mommy.

"Ssshhh don't cry honey. Okay, I'll let you visit your uncle. But I can't accompany you tomorrow, I have work. I'll just ask your aunt Sandy to come with you. Is that okay?" Eunji tried to comfort her daughter, and caressed her hair.

I don't want to be selfish. At least, they could still have some time together. Not as a father and daughter, but simply people who know each other.

She felt her daughter nodded and said, "It's fine mom. I understand you. But I hope you could come with me. Uh, mom... can I stay there for the whole day? I have nothing to do anyway. Can you just pick me up tomorrow afternoon?" Myeonji looked at her mother, giving her a pleading look.

Eunji sigh in defeat. "Okay, but please behave while you're in his house. You don't want to get into trouble, do you?" Her daughter smiled widely, and nodded her head.

"Uh mom, can I ask you a question?" Myeonji asked again..

"What is it?" Eunji replied..

"I didn't mean to eavesdrop, but I heard your tussle with Lu-appa. But don't worry mom, I just heard when he said that he'll be my father, and your boyfriend. What was that?" Myeonji innocently asked her mother.

(Ghad! Please remind me that Myeonji is just a seven year old kid. Ugh. Her character isn't appropriate for a seven year old kid, right?)

"What you heard awhile ago, was nothing. Your Lu-appa was just teasing me. He isn't my boyfriend and I don't have any. But you can treat him as your father, if you want too." Eunji said, trying to explain it briefly for the kid to understand her. Though she lied a little bit.
