CHAPTER 8

EUNJI'S POV

"THANK you, Eunji." he said as he received the cup of coffee I offered to him.

"I am here to personally ask an apology to what Chorong said to you. Just to clarify things, I am not on your side, nor on my bestfriend's." Luhan said after sipping on his cup.

He introduced himself as Suho's friend and Chorong's bestfriend, the woman who was here yesterday, and he came here today to personally apologize in behalf of his friend.

I was hesitant at first to talk to him because of what happened a few days ago, but he seems nice and gentleman, so I let him inside and offered a cup of coffee.

"Uhmm... but Luhan, I am not really sure of why Chorong said those things to me. I mean, there is really nothing going on between me and Suho, for her to be jealous and be furious like that." I said honestly.

I could still remember everything she said that day. I didn't expected something like that from someone like her.

I don't know what's wrong with Chorong. Because as far as I know,  and if my memory can recall it right, I have never done anything wrong to her, nor to Suho.

Luhan smiled at me and said, "I'm also to ask a favor with you."

I slightly raised my left eyebrow.

"...it's hard for me to say things to you because I don't have rights to do so. But I would like to ask you,  in a friendly note, to please stay away from Suho. I have nothing against with you. But we both know that we don't want any trouble or drama, right?"

"Luhan, to be honest I really don't get you, and I'm starting to get annoyed with you and your best friend. I mean, why are you saying to me that I should stay away from him? I'll be straight with you. We have nothing to do against each other. Even if we're neighbors, I didn't had the chance to talk to him aside from welcoming him here together with my other neighbors and when there was an emergency happened two weeks before.
"

Luhan's brows creased, "Emergency?"

I sigh. "It's wasn't that serious. I was on my way to pick up my daughter from her school, and I was in a hurry because her teacher told me that she was in trouble. I forgot to bring my car. Along the way, Suho almost bumped me with his car. And that's the second time that we had an encounter." I explained. Of course, I didn't told him the latter part of what had happened that day.

He sip one more and nodded, he smile at me and said.
"Alright then... If you say so, Eunji. I believe you. But let me just remind you that they are already getting married, two months from now. Again, it's better if you stay away from Suho." Luhan said calmly.

I rolled my eyes out of frustration as I clenched mu knuckles.

"Look Luhan, I don't know if you are really listening to what I am saying, or just simply not paying enough attention. Like I said, I don't have anything to do with them. I don't care about their future plans, or what they doing right now. I am simply living my life with my daughter. I am perfectly fine without him, and the two of us are already done eight years ago. So listen carefully Luhan, I don't care about him, or to them... They are  complete strangers in my life."

I almost lost my breath by saying those things while feeling annoyed and mad. Still I continued what I want to say.

"So please, tell your bestfriend that Suho is all hers, and she doesn't need to freak-out or what! Look, I'm sorry if this sounds mean amd bad, but tell her, that she doesn't need to worry about her relationship with Suho because I have nothing to do with him and she's being paranoid over nothing. Now, if you have nothing else to say Luhan, you should. I have nothing else to say to you. I don't even know why I should explain myself to you!"
