(Technically Part Three of 'His Teacher' and 'His Student')
The First time He saw a Crescent Moon in the steve Realm he had waited until he was alone before he took out the piece of red stone that he had been given the Crescent Moon almost Identical other then Color to the Moon in the sky. He found himself smiling when he saw the similarities.
A part of him wanted to see his Teacher again, well, not just a part. Most of him actually. He missed him, a lot. His teacher had been a huge part of his life, how he became the way he was. He was the only reason he wanted to keep living.
"Hey Sabre What are you doing?" He looked up, Closing his eyes and internally sighing as he made sure that his blindfold was on. He didn't want to take it off even around Orange.
"Nothing much, why?" he asked, tilting his head as Orange Stared at his hand where the stone was nestled. His grip tightened a bit on it before he slipped it into his Pocket. It was all he had left of his Teacher after all.
"There's a crescent Moon outside again! I noticed how you really like seeing them, so I thought I'd let you know Sabre." he found himself Perking up, a smile appearing on his Face. Despite the fact he never explained why he loved the crescent moon to Orange He would always let him know when it was out.
A part of him wanted to tell Orange why he loved the moon, everytime Orange told him about it he felt the urge to tell him. And yet he stopped himself from doing it, the idea that Orange could use it against him, that Maybe Orange didn't care about him as much as he appeared to a lot of the time.
"Thanks for Letting me know Orange, It means a lot." He kept his Voice, even, calm. Barely. He wanted to cry, he wanted to scream. Tell Orange everything. And yet he always told himself not to, because he didn't want it to be used against him. It meant a lot more to him though then Orange Probably thought.
"Your Welcome! I'll leave you to whatever it is you do!" Orange Skipped away as he watched him leave, his chest Tightening slightly. He took a deep breath, letting it out before walking outside and heading to the stream near the Rainbow hub.
When he got there he sat down and looked up at the sky, at that Crescent moon. He took out the red Stone piece and held it up, a soft smile appearing on his face as he compared them. He put it away as he looked down at the stream, Tears appearing in his eyes. He remembered how when he had a bad night once, how he had ran from his home.
How he had cried, running into the Forest and stopping at a stream, just as he was sitting at a stream now he had sat down next to it, sobbing. He remembered how much he had wanted to die, remembered how he shook. And then Mr Red found him. He didn't know how he had, It was early on in they're friendship? Mentorship? Partnership? he didn't know how to explain it. He Cared a lot about Mr red.
Tears appeared in his eyes as he looked back at the Crescent moon again, The Moon was a Crescent that day as well.
He knew he shouldn't be outside at Night, knew it quite well. The darkness always came out more at Night.
He only jumped up slightly when he heard A Oink. He looked down towards the sound before he saw him, Gerald. The Pig always seemed to know to much and both seemed to hate him and like him.
He froze in Place when Gerald sat down next to him and placed his Head on his lap. That's when he realized how Tight his chest was, How Uneven his breathing was. Everytime it seemed, he realized as he started carefully Petting Gerald's head, Gerald would find him before he could have a full panic or anxiety attack. Always managed to calm him down.
Knew before he did most of the time if he was about to panic or Anxiety Attack. To be fair though, he was used to the attacks and barely registered most of the time right when they happened until he was already in the middle of one.
But with Gerald here? He hadn't had one since he got into the steve realm other then after Red's Death, but Gerald had found him as well then to. He was like a therapy animal who always possibly hated his guts. he wasn't sure what the Pig thought about him but...
He looked down at Gerald and smiled, not a fake smile, a real one.
