On Thursday, something odd happened during PE. It was a cool day outside, so they should have been going outside. Aquarius told Taurus that every Thursday, if the weather permitted, the PE & Athletics classes went outside to play a friendly game of Capture The Flag. Taurus was excited, CTF being her favorite game, so she hurriedly changed into her gym clothes and ran outside. However, when she stepped outside, she was greeted by an unpleasant surprise. The PE coaches told everyone to 'huddle around', so Taurus and Aquarius headed for the teachers.

"Okay, so today, we are doing something a little different. This is GT kids only though, so other kids, stay here. Coach Tyler will attend to you." The non-GT kids turned back and sat in their spots. Coach Robertson turned to the small group. "Okay, now GT kids, if you walk with us, we are going to take you to a room where we are going to do something new. Ready?" Taurus and Aquarius nodded, as did Pisces, Gemini, & the brooding dude (Scorpio, was it?). However, Capricorn, Virgo, and - wait, WHAT?! - Cancer looked almost.... troubled. There was a look on each of their faces that read fear, surprise, and a little bit of agreement. Taurus nudged Aqua, titling her head toward the three. Aqua's eyebrows furrowed together in confusion. She made a symbol with her hands to say 'later', and walked forward, following the coaches into a doorway in the side of the gym.

They walked through an empty corridor, with no doors, no windows, and no people. They were led down a set of stairs into a sort of basement. There was one lightbulb dangling from the low ceiling, flickering and dancing around, obviously loose. The whole room was covered in an odd type of rock that looked like carpet, like you could run your hands through it and feel a soft cottony material, only it was a hard rock. The floor was linoleum, so the room echoed well. But the room wasn't the weirdest part. The weird thing was the inside of the room.

Placed in two perfect rows of six each, with wires connected to the walls, were treadmills. There was nothing special about them, just normal gym treadmills. But something about the wires, the room, the odd hallway the room was in, Cap, Cancer, & Virgo's facial reactions before.... something wasn't right. And by looking at Aqua's uneasy expression, she felt the exact same way.

Coach Robertson, on the other hand, had a smirk on his face. He looked the exact opposite of Aqua, Taurus, Nerd Squad, & Cancer - calm, cool, and collected. "Well, here we are! Sorry about the lighting. They're trying to fix it up in here and all. Anyways, we recently won a charter for 12 free treadmills, and some other gym equipment, which we have upstairs in the gym. Since you guys are our gifted class, and we have 12 treadmills, we thought you could try it out first! Well? What are you waiting for? Have at 'em!"

The kids stayed silent, quietly looking up at Coach Robertson's face. Nobody spoke for a while. Until finally, someone stepped up and began speaking.

"No."

Coach Robertson frowned, looking down at the tall girl. "No? What do you mean?" He asked. "They're treadmills! Why wouldn't you want to use them?" Taurus wasn't sure if It was just her imagination, but she could have sworn she saw a bead of sweat roll down the Coach's large head.

Capricorn shook her head, suddenly seeming very bold. She pushed her glasses up on her face and slid her headband back. "No, we aren't going to do it."

Coach Robertson started stammering. "Wh-wh-wh... what do you - what do you mean?"

Virgo stepped up from the crowd, seeming much taller than he was. "No." He said, looking at Capricorn, who nodded at him in approval. "It's a nice day outside. We should go outside. Not stay cooped up in here doing this."

Coach Robertson muttered what sounded like a curse. "You kids need to do this." He said, his voice much louder than before. Suddenly, his large size seemed even larger, enlarging him massively. "Don't ask. Now do it!" He pushed Virgo into the treadmill closest to him.

Virgo flew backwards, his head hitting the cool metal. His glasses slipped off his nose, crookedly hanging on the tip. Capricorn gasped, her hand flying to her mouth, and rushed over to Virgo. "Virgo!" she screamed. She looked up at Coach Robertson. "Who the fudge do you think you are? We live in a free country. We have right to choose what we want to do. You cannot hurt a student if they don't want to do something. You cannot get away with this." With that, she ran for the door, but with one swift move, he swatted the poor girl, her head hitting the fake carpet wall. She slid down, slumped against the wall. Her glasses were broken, each lens a different piece. She wasn't responding, and blood seeped from the back of her head.

"Who's next?" the coach growled. Nobody responded. "I thought so. Now. If anyone else wants to face that, be my guest and step right up. If you don't want to though, you'll stay silent and get onto the treadmills. Got it?" Nobody moved. "Now GO!!!!!!!" Nobody moved. "GO, YOU PEASANTS!!!!!" he roared. Still nobody moved. Step by step, a tall, skinny boy walked up. The coach guffawed. "Well, well. Look who's next. Weak boy! The stutterer, the skinny one, the weak link. You do realize that I can just get rid of you like this?" He grabbed Cancer by the shirt and pulled him up till the two were face to face. "I know you know. Say a word to the others and you won't be alive anymore."

Cancer's squinted slightly. "If you kill me, your plan won't work." With that, he punched the coach, making him stumble backwards and drop Cancer. He fell onto the ground, but caught himself in a stylish pose. Gemini swooned, and Pisces simply smirked.

The coach returned to his senses, and looked down at Cancer. "You little-"

He tried to grab at Cancer, but Taurus slid into the way, making the coach stumble and fall. "RUN!!!!!" she yelled, and everyone ran up the stairs. The coach struggled to get up, but being so huge, he kept falling down. Before running off with the others, Taurus leaned over the failed coach and said, "I don't know what this is about, but all I can say is that it's not going to work." She kicked the coach in the side before running to catch up with the rest of her class, the sound of Coach Robertson roaring nothing but background music.

Took long enough, didn't it? But finally it's here, and there's something really big going on. What the heck is going on?! You'll have to read on to find out! All I can say is this: "The mystery thickens!" 😉

Let me just warn you now that this isn't your typical zodiac book. In fact, none of them will go to the amusement park, or on a date, or anything like that all happily. There will be a little bit of love, romance, drama, and all that ish, but don't expect all happiness and ponies and rainbow unicorn ponies. This is a mystery/action/love story. If you're no longer interested, please just leave. Thank you.

Next chapter is a chapter and a half kind of thing. Chapter after that will be a full chapter. Thanks for reading folks! Only seven parts and 500+ reads... thankie! XD Bye!
