12 - The Plan

Taurus woke up the next morning with a jolt. She didn't know why at first - her dreams had been pleasant, and it wasn't the middle of the night. There was just something that had shocked her. Anyways, it was about time to get ready for school, so Taurus rose from her tangled sheets drowsily and trudged to the bathroom.

And then it all hit her.

Taurus remembered everything, about the school, the evil plan, the video from last night, and lastly, the text. Oh, the text. When she saw that picture, Taurus' heart had nearly stopped. Though the two subjects of the picture were wrapped up in cloth & ropes likes mummies, the two were still recognizable. Her shoulder length drown hair and tall height. His short, choppy hair, fashioned remarkably like a younger Albert Einstein. Yes, even without the glasses, it was still them.

Capricorn and Virgo.

A large ball of guilt pooled in the center or Taurus' gut, making her feel sick to her stomach. Why had she ever doubted them in the first place. Taurus felt responsible for their situation. After all, if Taurus hadn't shot against them in the courtyard, they would have eaten lunch together, gone home together, and nothing would've happened. Instead, Taurus, Cancer, and Aquarius had stranded them, deserted them at the one time they needed someone to lean a shoulder on other than each other. That was enough for them to get kidnapped without anyone noticing at all.

Suddenly, another thought popped into Taurus' head. What if they were being kidnapped? If the other teachers at Zodiac Academy were just as hostile as Coach Robertson had been, who knew what condition Cap and Virgo were in?!

No. Taurus dismissed the thought with a wave of her hand. They needed all 12 alive. The coach had been fired because he was not careful with them, throwing everyone around like a rambunctious boy playing with a girl's dolls. The two would be alive - but where? At least Taurus knew it was someone at school - how else had everyone in the class gotten that message - and only them?

Suddenly, an idea popped up in Taurus' head.

What if we can save them?

And as Taurus got ready for school, she devised a plan. An idea that would save Virgo and Capricorn while also keeping them out of trouble. It was risky, and involved some risky & crazy ideas, but somehow, it seemed somewhat... normal. Everything they had been going through was crazy. A Zodiac-caused Armageddon. Animal alter-egos. An evil school. It sounded more like a fantasy novel than real life, but that was the truth. All Taurus could do was try to stop it.

Game on, Zodiac Academy teachers. You want a fight? We'll give you one.

"Okay, class!" Mr. Collins greeted. "Welcome to math! Today is going to be a bit different. First off, we won't be going to any of our classes or doing any math, LA, science, and so on!" He waited for the class to cheer, but nobody uttered anything. Everyone was too on edge thanks to everything that had happened.

Early in the morning, Taurus texted the group chat with the video, telling everyone to come to school early. When she got to school, Taurus huddled everyone up and told them about her plan. Basically, during lunch, everyone would meet up. They'd split into 3 groups - one for each of the 3 wings of the school. They would use their phones to contact each other and convey any information on possible leads. If anyone found Capricorn and Virgo, they would let the other groups know and attempt to retrieve their friends. Before lunch ended, they would silently sneak back into the lunchroom and casually go to the next class.
