What? An update? No way. Haha sorry I haven't updated this book, I just haven't had any ideas for it lately. I mainly wanted to write this book about the time capsule, and the kids reaction to it, and Shawn hitting Lucas with a spatula. (Plz tell me I'm not the only one who thinks that's hilarious) I didn't really know what I was going to do after that part, so if you have any ideas for the kids adventures, any at all, I really want to hear them. PLEASE I NEED HELP.

Anyway, I watched part of Girl Meets I am Farkle and it didn't make sense, so I guess I just have to watch the whole thing. I do know that there was no Shawn so or lucaya so :( :( :(

Grace POV

So I was just sitting in my room, minding my own business, when Lauren runs in my room.

"Grace I have a problem." Lauren says really fast.

"Lauren, slow down, what's wrong? And how did you even get in? I'm the only one here." I ask.

"My mom has a key."

"Your mom has a key? How does she have a key? I don't have a key!"

"Anyways, my problem. Look at this ."Lauren says as she shows me her phone. There was a text from Aidan, Colin, and Andrew. She had broken up with Aidan a month ago. She had been talking to Colin, and he had even asked her out, but she said no, but it was because she had had a boyfriend for all of middle school, and she wanted to "become her own person." Then two weeks after she told Colin that, her friend Andrew asked her out, and she said yes. Lauren acts in A Christmas Carol every year and that's how she knows Andrew. She also didn't tell anyone but me and her Christmas Carol that Andrew and her are dating, so Colin and Aidan don't know. The both think she's single. Basically, in the texts, Aidan is trying to get her back, Andrew says he misses her, and Colin says "Bye have a good day" with a heart emoji.

"I don't mind what Andrew said, but this whole mess with Colin and Aidan and I don't even really want a boyfriend right now what do I do?" Lauren says.

"Why are you asking me? I've never had a boyfriend." I say as Lauren sits down next to me.

"Yeah but you broke up with Colin for me in sixth grade." She says.

"And he hated me until the end of seventh grade. Lo, I'm not the person to ask about this." I say. Did I mention my nickname for her is Lo? And her nickname for me is Gracelynn.

"Then who should I ask?" Lauren says as somebody comes through the front door.

"Grace?" I hear my mom say.

"I think I know just the person." I say. We head into the kitchen where my mom is.

"Mom, Lauren has problems." I say.

"What kind?" She asks.

"Boy problems. " Lauren says.

"Oh yeah, your mom had a lot of those." My mom says. We explain Laurens whole situation, and my mom gives us a look.

"Yeah I have no idea how to fix that. Why don't you ask your mom? She is a psychologist. She solves problems for a living." My mom says.

"I haven't had the chance. My parents also don't know I'm dating Andrew." Lauren says.

"Well, I can't fix your problem, but I can tell you a story to take your mind off your problem, and also you can see how weird our lives were when we were in seventh grade." My mom says.

"Ok"

"Alright, so when we were in seventh grade, Lauren, your mother, had a huge crush on Lucas. He literally went to Mr. Matthews and asked him if he could ask Riley out. Then Mr. Matthews said Riley could go out with Lucas, if I went out with Farkle. I, of course, didn't want to, but for Riley's sake, I did. At some point, Riley kissed Lucas and Farkle kissed my hand." My mom says. My dad has come in at this point.

"Wait dad, you went out with Riley?" I ask my dad.

"In middle school yeah." he says.

"Well when did you start dating mom?"I ask.

"That wasn't until high school." He responds.

"Friar you dog!" Lauren says. My mom gives us this weird look like deja vu or something.

"Okay, well, Lauren, we have homework to do, we'll solve your problems later." I say as we head back to my room.

"What kind of problems?" My dad asks.

"Boy problems. Mom can explain it to you" I say.

"Oh yeah, Riley had a lot of those. You, no boys." My dad says, pointing at me.

"Dad, I'm fourteen, I'm not a baby anymore." I say as we walk back to my room. Lauren and I go do our homework and think about her problems.
