Chapter 9

FIRST OFF I AM SO SORRY FOR NOT WRITING I STARTED THIS CHAPTER 2 WEEKS AGO AND THEN FORGOT TO FINISH IT

Hey! So first, about commenting ideas and stuff, you can be as vague as just giving the gmw or bmw episode you want me to base the chapter(s) off of. You don't even have to have a real idea, you could just be like "how would Grace and her friends react to the situation in gm ____?" Also, if you actually read my author's notes, please comment cowboy, because if no one reads them, I won't waste any time writing them.

Also GM Texas!!!!!! It happened!!!! I really liked the first two but I didn't really like the ending of the last one.

I can't wait three weeks for Girl Meets the Forgiveness Project!!!! Shawn may be in it and Sabrina says its her favorite so that means it must be good.

Ok so you know what would be even better than Shawn coming back? Somebody saying that Maya went out with Lucas and then Shawn gets all overprotective!!!! I really really want some canon overprotective Shawn!!!

Grace POV

          So I guess the weird thing this week is that everything is absolutely,- completely normal. Its completely unnatural and I hate it. But knowing my life it probably won't last. Oh well. So today has been completely normal, but Lauren and her entire family are coming over for dinner, so that's probably about to change. Anyway, right now I'm on my way to meet the gang at Topanga's. They're already there because I had to meet with my English teacher after school. I wasn't in trouble, she was just trying to get me to publish my writing in the school paper. I told her I'd think about it, but I meant to say never in a million years. My writings not good enough for the paper. I really hope they don't bring this up when I get to Topanga's.

"Hey guys" I say as I walk to our normal spot. 

"Hey Grace" They respond. I sit down next to Lauren.

"Has anyone else noticed it has been unusually normal lately?" Tyler asks.

"Yeah I have, and I'd like to keep it that way. Its nice to have a break" Colin says.

"No! I hate it! Its so boring" I say. Then Topanga walks over.

"So you guys are tired of things being normal?" She asks

"Yeah, nothing's happening." I say.

"Well do you guys know what today is?" Topanga asks us.

"October 16th?" Lauren says.

"Today is the day your parents lives changed forever." She says as she gets up and walks away.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Tyler asks.

"I don't know, but I know how we can find out." I says standing up. We all get up and head to my house. 

//TIME SKIP//

 "Mom!" I shout as I walk into my apartment. "We need to talk to you!"

"What is it" my mom says, walking into the room.

"Topanga says that today was the day that everything changed for you guys, what is that supposed to mean?" I ask. Then her eyes get really wide.

"No, nope. We are not going to go back to that. Lets never talk about that again." She says.

"Mom, what are you talking about?" I ask.

"I'll tell you after dinner. Then I'll have help." She says as she walks away to make dinner. "Oh yeah, don't mention this until we are all done eating. Your dads going to freak out, and I want to have a quiet dinner." 

//Time Skip//

We all sit at one table and eat. All twelve of us. My family, Lauren's family, and Colin. Since we can't talk about whatever today is, I decide to bring up a new topic.

"Hey Mom, how come Riley has a key and I don't?" I ask.

"Wait, she has a key? I don't have a key?" My dad says rather pathetically.

"Fine I'll get you both keys." My mom says.

"Oh my gosh Maya we're my dad and Shawn." Riley says.

"I don't like it and I don't like it at all." My mom says. Lauren, Farkle, Tyler, my dad and I all start cracking up, but I don't really know why. I guess maybe something like this happened before? We all finish dinner, and I even wait till after everything's cleaned up before I ask.

"Ok, so dinners over. I even waited till after everything was cleaned up. What the heck is so important about today?" I ask. 

"What are you" My dad starts to say.

"Its October 16th" My mom cuts in. My dad's face goes blank and so does Farkles. However, a creepy smile grows on Riley's face.

"Today is the day" Riley says until my dad cuts her off.

"Riley don't" he says.

"But why? Its a great story. And it was really important for all of us." Riley says.

"Because your dad was right. All that came from that day was feelings and that's going to happen to them if we tell them and they're too young for that. " My dad says.

"That's why you don't want to tell them? I just don't want to remember that day. I wasn't myself." My mom says.

"Ok is someone gonna tell this story or are you guys just gonna continue having a conversation?" I ask. Then at some point Riley tells the entire story. And then she turns it over to my mom and she awkwardly tells the rest.

"Oh my gosh! I know what we should do!" Riley shouts, "We should go visit Texas!"

"NO" My parents say at the same time.

"Yes! It would be a great way for the kids to learn about life and Texas. And they can meet Judy the sheep." Riley says.

"Well I do like that part. Ok fine" My mom says.

Well it looks like we're going to Texas.

So I hope you enjoyed this. And yes I will eventually write a Halloween chapter, but that won't be for another chapter or two. The next couple chapters will be more Texas stuff. I also want to write something about forgiveness, and I promise I will update Saving Maya soon!
