Chapter 11

Hey! If you want to read a rant go look at my last chapter of saving maya (22.) Also I thought of a name for Maya's younger brother, even though no one commented anything......

Maya's brothers name is........ Liam Patrick Hunter. I think he'll be kind of similar to Josh, and I'm gonna have a whole thing about middle names and it's gonna be great. Liam will be about 18 in this story. Lily and Auggie and Ava may also make an appearance......

Grace POV

            So we have arrived in Texas. Yay. I don't really understand why we're here, or what the plan is, so I'm just gonna go with it. We're staying in this cottage thing and I think we're going to go meet Zay and his family, whoever that is. Anyway, Lauren and I are sharing a room, so we're getting our stuff situated. Then Riley walks in with one of Lauren's bags. 

"Ok so what exactly is the plan?" I ask Riley as she walks in.

"Well, first we're going to go visit Zay, then you guys are going to meet Judy the sheep, and then we'll get something to eat, and we'll figure out the rest when we get to it." She says. Ok, so we at least have part of a plan. At least I'm sibling free for the weekend. They're staying with my grandparents while we're here. Riley leaves and Lauren and I continue to get our stuff how we want it. After about fifteen minutes my mom calls us and we head to meet Zay, Vanessa, and their son, Elliot. Our parents talked to Zay and Vanessa for like three hours so we got to know Elliot, and he's a pretty cool guy. They are going to come with us to see the sheep thing and then Elliot is going to show us some the sights to see in Texas or something. After a few hours, our parents decide it's time to go see Judy the sheep. 

                I still don't quite understand why we're doing this, but my mom's insistent that we go. My dad, on the other hand, would rather go do something else.  I'm not entirely sure about the story, but apparently my dad fell off of this sheep when he was little, and then when they were fourteen my mom and Riley entered him in a rodeo and he had to ride a bull and there was a bunch of drama and feelings. I honestly don't understand how this sheep is still alive, but she's apparently evil. We get to the rodeo and we all go over to the sheep area.

"How the heck are you still alive?" My dad yells at a sheep. He scares a couple of little kids. I roll my eyes and turn to my mom.

"Ok, we met the sheep, can we go eat now?"I ask. She nods and we head to this barbecue place that they ate at when they were kids. We finish eating and our parents take us to this campsite. I have to admit, it's beautiful. When you live in New York, you don't really get to see the stars that much. We all sit and talk and look at the stars for a while before we have to go back to where we're staying. It was a very interesting day in Texas.

OK I know its not a very good chapter but I didn't really want to write it. I didn't have any ideas for Texas but I felt like I had to finish this little part.
