You think after my parents ignored me yesterday and acted like I didn't exist was going to make them sorry and make it up to me, then you're wrong!
Today, Mom asked me to babysit Amanda while she went to some appointment at a spa, and Dad was going to work.
Of course I could handle it! NOT! There was NO way Amanda was going to keep me alive for another two hours, which is when Mom comes back.
She was either going to break my phone or do something WAY worse. Like maybe shatter my eardrums. Or maybe set the house on FIRE!
I was chilling in my room, Instagramming away, when Amanda skipped in and said, "Hey MacKenzie! Can you watch Frozen with me in my room? Pretty please?"
"No! What I want for you is to get out!" I yelled, staring at my phone.
"Pleeeaaaasssseeeee?" she bugged me.
Reluctantly, I gave in. I followed her to her room (with my iPhone 6 Plus in my pocket). I put in the Frozen CD into the CD player.
After a while, I started to get bored, so I decided to use my phone.
When Let It Go started playing, I expected Amanda to sing along with that out-of-tune voice of hers. But she didn't. I thought she was being a good girl for once. But when I looked up, she wasn't there on the bed!
I thought she was playing a trick on me. You know, Hide And Seek.
"Okay, Amanda, come on out," I said.
No response.
"Amanda, stop acting like a drama queen! Come on out already!"
STILL no response.
That's when I started to panic. Where could the little brat have gone to?
"Amanda! Where are you?" I yelled, as I dashed through the hallways to find her.
If I didn't find her, Mom would probably ground me for the rest if my life, take away my iPhone 6 Plus, AND cut down my daily allowance of $700!
Suddenly, I heard a voice.
"MacKenzie, I'm over here in the kitchen!"
I dashed to the kitchen to find Amanda trying to make popcorn with the oven!
"Amanda, what on earth are you doing?" I demanded.
"I'm making popcorn! I wanna eat it while watching Frozen!" she answered.
Suddenly, there was loud sounds of "POP! POP! POP!" coming from the oven. Definitely NOT a good sign.
I opened the oven cautiously.
Lots of popcorn bits came flying into my face! It kind of reminded me of paint ball, just a more messy version!
Once the flying of bits stopped, I sat up straight. Amanda gasped in horror. I whipped out my phone to see how I looked like.
My face was smeared with butter and there was some popcorn in my hair! There was some popcorn and butter stains on my clothes as well.
"OMG Amanda! Look at what you've just done!" I shrieked.
"Oops!" she said.
"Now I'll have to take a bath AGAIN and waste another round of good bubble bath soap!" I groaned.
"If you want, you can use mine," Amanda said.
She dashed up to her room and got her Princess Sugar Plum bubble bath soap and handed it to me. Then she helped me pick a outfit from my walk-in closet. She also helped me to put the dirty clothes into the wash.
I have to admit, Amanda is naughty when she really is naughty, but she is also nice when she really is nice.
I guess today would be the best day ever! :) !
