Fosters POV
Why do I feel so bad right now? It should have been fulfilling like it usually is. Messing around with girls always helped me when I was bored, angry, sad or just in the mood but now I don't feel that, all I feel is guilt and I have no freaking idea why!
Maybe I'm just having an off day today, not like Tori though. I can't even begin to imagine what she's feeling right now.
If I ever meet this Dennis guy I will rip him limb from limb. I wouldn't care if he had just hurt her in the smallest way I still would rip him apart.
Poor Caleb he feels so guilty for what happened to her. He told us that he took her to the pharmacy and then she had to get to work. It's not like he knew what was going to happen so he really shouldn't be blaming himself.
Tori's our friend now and we would do anything to protect her. We just honestly wish we knew about it then maybe we could have done something to stop it. Where were the other employees they could have helped her.
I'm busy pacing my room right now just running through all my thoughts.
A soft knock stopped my thoughts immediately. "Come in." I said, I walked over to my bed and sat down while resting my elbows on my knees. "Bro you need to get ready soon for tonight." Dalton said while peeking his head out from behind the door.
"I know I just got lost in my thoughts I'll be ready don't worry." I said while running my hands through my hair repeatedly. "It's not you im worried about. I know what you're thinking, im thinking the exact same... Hey maybe we can ask Tori if she wants to join us tonight?" I looked at him with an eyebrow raised.
"Are you serious right now, you honestly think she would want to come with us tonight after what has just happened?" I think he's finally loss it.
"I'm not crazy if thats what your thinking, I'm just saying it will maybe get her mind off of the situation. She needs a way to calm down and last time I saw her calm was when she was watching you fight. It was like she was studying and calculating your next moves." I didn't even know she was there until she got punched.
"I don't know Dalton-" I was cut off by Caleb. "I think what he's saying makes sense Fos, maybe it will help. We can ask her and if she doesn't want to come she doesn't have to. It's worth a shot." He shrugged while leaning against the wall.
I silently nodded, agreeing. "So I have to ask why you all so tense? Usually once you've had your daily fun you're all calm and relaxed. Was it not good?" Dalton asked with raised eyebrows but he's not wrong. It always helped me stay calm but today it just didn't, actually it hasn't been helping since our first day here and I don't know why.
"I honestly don't know it just feels wrong for some reason. What about you guys?" Caleb sighed while Dalton scratched the back of his neck, silently telling me they're having the same problem.
"Well lets drop this depressing subject and go over to Tori's." Caleb yelled.
"Mom we're heading out!" Dalton yelled out. "First come here boys!" She yelled back. We all walked into the kitchen and saw that she looked really upset. Mom's hardly ever sad.
"What's wrong mom?" I asked while sitting down next to her on one of the other bar stools. "I just got a phone call."
"Who was it mom?" Though I'm sure we all knew exactly who it was, we just didn't want to be right. "It was Jeffery." We don't call him dad, because he never earned the title for us to call him that.
We did in the beginning but over time we saw that he wasn't and never will be our dad. "What did he say this time?" Caleb asked with disgust in his voice.
