Chapter 43

Alina's Pov

I was after-school, I was finishing my homework.

Finally I'm done and ready to go.

The Bell rang, I walked out and went to my locker.

I opened it and put my binder away.

Right I was about to close the locker, a hand grabbed mine, spinned me around then our lips touched.

I let go to see it was, DANIEL!

"What's the problem babe." he said.

"I'M NOT YOUR BABE, DANIEL!"

"Still in denial aren't you babe, I get it, maybe another kiss can help calm you down."

He leaned in until I pushed him and closed my locker.

I started running, he was running behind me.

I ran down the stairs then got out the door. Jace was waiting for me there.

"Hey..." Jace said until I pulled him to run with me.

I hear the door opened with words out of breath saying, "Oh with this b**** Imma beat."

I heard footsteps getting closer.

Then later I notice the Jace has been tackled.

Daniel is throwing hard punches at Jace.

Jace is bleeding and Jace is throwing punches back.

Jace kicked him in the 'area' Daniel jumped in pain but it didn't make us have time to run.

He punched Jace again.

They were punching and kicking for while, and all I did is stand there.

I was tired of seeing this, so I ran up and Jumped on Daniel.

"WHAT THE F***!" he yelled.

I was punching his face and since I'm still on him, I was kicking him with both legs.

Then we lost balance and fell, I got up, Daniel was still on the floor.

I got up and punched him, with syllables.

"I... Don't... Love... You... Because... You... Hurt... The... I... Really... Love... You... Crazy... Some... Of... A... B****"

His face was bleeding more.

He pushed me.

I was going for another round but Jace held me back.

Daniel got up, "Oh, playing tough on me, I see how it is. I'll get you Johnson. YOU'LL PAY!"

Jace puts his arms around me.

Daniel ran away.

"Woah Alina." he said.

I sighed.

"Look..." Jace said

"Thank you." he said.

I smiled.

He used his index finger to lift my head from my chin.

He leans in and our lips touched.

It's been a while since we kissed.

Jace let's go.

I look in his eyes.

I gave him a short kiss then let go.

Then we walked home with silence.
