Bitten by a Werewolf Shifter

Chapter 7

Alicia's POV

I woke in my new bedroom, the house seemed pretty noisy downstairs so I tugged on my new dressing gown and headed down to the kitchen. 

"We need to do all we can to stop... oh hey Alicia" Chris smiled and everyone 'returned' back to their conversations. 

"Chris? What's happening, I demand to know!" I looked into his eyes, I could tell he was tense, he was hiding something... big. Had I got a new ability? Could I know sense what others where feeling? I decided not to mention it to anyone in case I had something special. 

"Nothing... We are... urgh... planning a trip for you Millie and Elle, you are going away for the next few days" he wasn't telling the truth, it angered me that as his mate he didn't trust me. 

"Sure, sounds good. When?" I decided to go along with it and think of a plan later to find out the truth. 

"Tonight in fact. You will be far enough from humans so you won't hurt anyone and I will visit during the day on Tuesday, you will not be continuing at school anymore." I could tell he wanted me to be safe, but why? 

"Okay, I'll just pack some stuff." I run up into my bedroom an began packing various items of clothes, and my phone, which now has a smashed screen, something to do with faiting I think. 3 hours layer and a long boring car ride and we were there! Millie parked in front of a quaint little pretty cottage that looked like it came from a fairytale. It looked so much different from the modern jazzed up house. There might even be a reason why Chris chose it as it really looked like something he'd hate to own.  

"Its beautiful here isn't it?" Elle smiled. 

"Yes it is." I took a deep breath preparing for what I was going to say next "Why are we here? What's going to happen? I know something is up." 

"It's for the best that you don't know Alicia." Millie walked in and lent on the door frame "It would be safer for you, Chris and everybody else." 

Elle sighed "Millie is right Leesh, you have to listen to her, she is the Alpha's sister of course." Elle's eyes showed she was worried, upset and a tiny bit scared for someone. I wanted to know what was happening and why I couldn't be told.

Chris's POV

"So if they arrive by tomorrow morning, we can defend our land. We cannot help something I did not do but as they claim it was me, there is nothing we can change. Yet. In two days time I will have to visit Alicia, she has Elle and Millie to protect her as I think she knows and likes them best. If the attackers arrive while I am gone, I want you, Mark, to lead. You will still defend, if you don't I will make sure you are punished. Sam, thanks for your help, you may go back to your own pack, thanks for the tip" I didn't like threatening my pack but it always worked better. Alicia was going to be as protected as much as she could be and leaving her myself for two days was exactly a good idea on it's own but it had to be done. I just had to hope they would stop attacking us and packs around as their leader believed I had killed his father.
