Alicia's POV

"Did Chris" I gulp "really kill your dad?"
"Yes he did." Dan's face fell at my mention of his dad "3 years ago, Chris's parents were trying to re-claim land because my mum, Chris's mum's sister, died in a car crash 6 years before that and it was rightfully their land because my father wasn't blood related to Chris's family so it didn't belong to him. The human lawyers said it belonged to us because it had been given to my mum and it was then supposed to be passed down to her own family but Chris's parents wanted the land back. There was a fight, Chris's parents against mine, Chris was there and so was I. We mostly sat out but then things got worse, Chris's dad's pack arrived and started attacking my parents who only had themselves an no one else other than me. I was too young to know what to do, I had only shifted a few months before and had little training. Chris was helping too, alongside the beta of the pack, Alex. It happened quickly. Alex attacked my dad and pinned him down and then Chris finished him off. I was left without any parents. I created my own pack to protect me and Chris left his parents and did the same. Alex was never found afterwards, we think he ran away." Dan shivered
"It's okay- I won't go back to him unless I have to. Mating is silly, I have to go near him sometimes or else I will die" it wasn't a nice thought

Chris's POV
I screamed in pain. She hated me, absolutely hate and despised me.

Dans POV
"I am recovering though. You have to" I looked into Alicia's worried else and I weakly smiled. We hugged each other, without even knowing how we got there. I looked into her cool blue eyes, she was very pretty. My lips pressed against hers, I pressed harder, I never wanted it to end.

Alicia's POV
Even though his lips where soft and gentle the touch of his lips tasted bitter and he pressed too hard against mine. It didn't feel right. I abrutedly pulled away.

Chris's POV
I was being stabbed, in the heart, over and over and over again. I couldn't think or concentrate at all. Then, it suddenly stopped.
