YOUR POV-
I was walking with my dog down the street when I saw a sign up near a small little building.
Rainbow Orphanage: Adoption Day Today! Come one and all!
Those poor kids, maybe I can help one out. I smiled as I waked with my dog over to the building. I tied his leash to a tree andwalked inside. I was greeted by a smallish woman possibly in her thirties.
"Welcome to the Rainbow Orphanage. May I help you?"
"I was hoping to adopt someone today. You see, I feel bad that they're all here without anywhere to go."
"Well I could find you someone that you'd probably love to adopt."
"That would be lovely."
"Let me go find them." The lady walked off and soon came back with six little boys. All of which had different hair colors. "This is Daiki, Ryouta, Tetsuya, Atsushi, Shintaro, and Seijuro."
"Hello boys," I said. "my name is (Y/n). Would any of you like to be adopted today?"
"I would! Look it! I caught a little lobster earlier this morning, and the only one who can catch him is me," Daiki said as he lifted a lobster up to show me.
"Ne~ (Y/n)chii, could I be a model when I grow up if you adopt me," Ryouta asked.
"Ano, but could you possibly adopt me," Tetsuya timidly put in.
"Do you have a cookie jar at your house? I wish I was tall enough to reach the cookie jar here," Atsushi added.
"I could give you good grades if you adopted me nanodayo," Shintaro told me.
"You should adopt me! Don't worry, I'm always right," Seijuro said.
"You're all so cute. That just makes this decision harder," I said with a sad smile.
"Why now adopt all of them," the woman asked. "I will even help you out when it comes to certain payments they may need."
"Oh I couldn't ask you to do that," I said.
"Nonsense. I've known these boys for the whole five years they've been here. They are all so close and I'd hate to split them up. It's the least I can do for someone who seems as kind as you."
"Are you sure you'd be willing to do that," I asked her.
"Of course! Thy just need someone to look up to and care for them." I hesitated for a minute before smiling a bit.
"Alright then. I guess I can adopt all of them." The boys cheered and I smiled before going off with the woman to sign some papers.
MINI TIME SKIP
I walked outside with the boys and saw that (dog's name) had loosened his leash. He was now in the process of trying to catch a squirrel around the tree.
"(Dog's name)! No! Bad boy!" I ran over as fast as I could and got he end of his leash. He jerked me forward a bit with his sudden stop but then ran over and wanted me to pet him. "No. That was a bad dog untying the knot like that."
"You have a dog," Daiki asked.
"Yes. That's not a problem for any of you is it?"
"No. Just that... Tetsuya loves dogs." I looked over and saw Tetsuya hugging (dog's name) before (dog's name) lifted Tetsuya onto his back to ride. I giggled slightly before turning to the other boys.
"Come on. Let's go home." We walked a bit before I. Prices Ryouta falling behind. "What's wrong?"
"My feet hurt," he said. I noticed his pout and couldn't help but think that it was the most adorable thing ever.
"Fine. Come here," I picked him up and held him on my hip with one arm while holding the leash with the other. I'm surprised (dog's name) has let Teysuya ride him for so long.
"We might need last names nanodayo," Shintaro said. "I doubt people would believe that we are all brothers because our birthdays are different days in the year nanodayo."
"That's right. Well how about I let you pick out last names inside," I said as I put Ryouta down and took the keys from my pocket. They all nodded and we walked inside.
My house was not big, yet it wasn't small either. I live in a one story house with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen/dining area, and a living room. One of the bedrooms were mine, another was a guest bedroom for when my parents came over to visit overnight, and another was acting as an office right now.
"I like it," Seijuro said as he walked further into the house. "Is there a room for us yet?"
"I'll try to work on getting beds in the last bedroom. For now, you six can split into two rooms and I can take the couch. Three of you could take my bed and the other three could take the guest bed."
"We can't do that to you," Atsushi said with sad eyes. "(Y/n)-chin has to sleep in her own bed."
"But there isn't enough to room for all six of you in the guest bed."
"How about four can sleep in the guest bed and two can sleep with you until we get our own beds. We can switch who gets to sleep with you every third night," Seijuro said. "That sounds fair to me." The other boys nodded and looked at me with hopeful eyes.
"I guess that can work for now. I think the bed should be big enough for four of you," I sighed. They then proceeded to rock, paper, scissors to decide who will sleep in my bed what nights. First it will be Tetsuya and Ryouta, the next night is Shintaro and Atsushi, and the next night will be Daiki and Seijuro.
It was getting close to bed anyways so I sent them off to go take showers and started on dinner. It's a bit late so I'm going to make spaghetti since that's so simple.
MINI TIME SKIP
I went to go shower and came back into my room to see Tetsuya and Ryouta trying to stay awake. I giggled before asking them what they were doing.
"We want to stay up with you (Y/n)chii." I giggled a little bit more before I felt myself smiling. I turned out my overhead light and crawled into bed. I said goodnight to the boys before turning off my lamp too. I was closing my eyes to go to sleep when I felt two little arms grab at the stomach of my shirt. I looked and was able to make out light blue hair in front of me.
"Goodnight Tetsuya," I whispered to him.
"Goodnight... mom." I was shocked that he had called me that so quickly but I just put my arm around him and Ryouta before falling asleep.
