Daiki Has News

KYO POV-

I ran after Daiki until I made it towards the backyard garden. Mom had this because some of the flowers reminded her of my grandma's favorites and Father wanted to give her something special. I hope I can do something like that for (Y/n).

I smiled before looking around and spotting Daiki under a gazebo in the middle. I walked over to him and took a seat on the other side of the bench while looking at the garden.

"I always thought it was gorgeous out here. These flowers were put here to remind my mom of some of my grandmother's favorites. My father obliged to my mother's request but also put a small patch of fllwers that reminded him of his mother. Sinxe then we call this the Ma Mere Teien."

"Let me guess. It means the special garden or something sappy like that."

"No, but you are close. Ma Mere means My mother in French and Teien means garden. So this is called 'My Mother's Garden'."

"What do there moms think?"

"Well my maternal grandmother has passed and my paternal gradmother hasnt been seen since my father was in middle school."

"Did she abandon him or something?" Daiki asked with a puff.

"On the contrary, my grandmother was a foul woman who seperated us." I looked up and saw my father walk over with his hnads in his pockets and sit on the steps of the gazebo.

"Where did you come from?" I asked while Daiki stared at his feet.

"France. What about you?" He laughed at his own joke before looking at the boy once more. "Daiki. I hope you realize how lucky you are. Your mother cares for you a lot. And Kyo tries his best to be a good father. I knkw I wasnt one but he tries for you guys. I can see it. (Y/n) is in the sitting room right now having a good time but is finding it difficult with one of her sons missing."

"Well who cares." Daiki huffed as he closed his eyes.

"Ok. Whats wrong?" I asked. "You live your mother and you havent had any issue with me in the past ten years I've known you. So why now?"

"Its not important." Daiki sighed as he began to stand up. I quickly stood and grabbed his shoulder. He may be tall but I'm only slightly shorter than Atsushi, making me taller than him by a few inches.

"Daiki. What happened? You were a good kid. Why all of this suddenly?"

"Because.... Because my birth parents got in contact with me okay! Tetsuya and Shintaro too!"

I felt my eyes go wide before I grabbed him by the back collar of his shirt and dragged him back inside.

"Hey! Let me go! Why are you-" I went to the sitting room and stood him in the middle where everyone could see him.

"Shin, Tetsu, could you come with your mother and I for a moment."

All three stood up and while my father took a seat next to my mother, I walked back into the entrance hall with the three boys and my wife.

"Now then. Sit on the stairs for a moment." They did as told and Daiki looked away with a glare. "Daiki told me about something important that your mother might want to know."

"What are you talking about Kyo?"

"Ill let the boys explain." I said as I  looked at the three.

"Mom, we all were found and contacted by our birth parents." Tetsuya said quietly.

I looked over at my wife who loooed at them all with wide eyes. She looked down at her feet after a while and I saw her hair covering her eyes.

"Mom? Are you alright?" Tetsuya asked as he stood up, Shin and Daiki right behind him.
