KUROKO'S POV-

Over the course of the last ten years, everything has been very interesting. Mom and Kyo got married and now he's our step-dad. The boys and I also became known as the generation of miracles and also made a friend name Satsuki Momoi. Mom likes her and calls her the daughter she never had. She comes over often and is going to high school with Aomine.

All of us picked different high schools and I chose a small place called Seirin. Hopefully the boys and I don't fight too much tonight either. Our choice of schools has made everything get crazy. We've been arguing nonstop for the last few months and I was walking by Mom's room last night and heard her and Kyo talking.

She was crying because she thought it was her fault for her boys constant arguing. I wanted to go into the room and tell her it was my fault because I picked "the wrong high school" but decided to let Kyo comfort her instead. By the end of the year, the guys will know why I chose the school I did.

Today was the first day and I had managed to join the basketball team and get to know Kagami a little bit. Maybe he and I could be friends. Maybe not. I don't know.

Either way, I was just hanging around Maji burger and trying not to go home. But that changed when I got a text from Kyo asking where I was. I said I was on my way and quickly finished my milkshake.

I walked home and opened the door before seeing five other pairs of eyes glare at me. Well, four glares and one in disappointment.

"Nani?"

"Why are you so late Tetu," Aomine asked.

"Why does it matter to you guys? I was just out."

"Don't start things Tetsuya. It's bad enough we all have to live together," Akashi said as he played with a pair of scissors.

After Mom married Kyo, we found a big house where we could all get our own room. We had to build a guest building out back for when our grandparents or Mr. Fujioka want to visit though.

"I don't see why it matters. I'm invisible to everyone anyways," I sighed as I started to walk upstairs.

"That's not the point," Murasakibara spoke up, "Mama-chin was getting worried. It's kinda late."

"Well I'll tell her not to worry next time then won't I," I asked ask I got to the top of the steps and kept walking. I swear. Sometimes those guys get on my nerves.

YOUR POV-

I heard them arguing downstairs again and sighed as I put down the cup of (fav hot drink) I was drinking. Those boys are going to be the death of me with this constant arguing. You figure with a big house that I wouldn't have to hear any of it, but I hear it all. And it makes me upset.

"What's wrong," Kyo asked as he laid down in the bed and put his head on my lap.

"Nothing," I looked away.

"(Y/n)... tell me."

"It's just... the boys are arguing again."

"They're just being boys. They'll get over all of it eventually."

"Wanna bet? Shin won't even think about sitting next to Tetsuya because it's "bad luck" and Daiki won't stop being rude to Ryouta and calling him stupid, then we have Atsushi who wants to crush everyone, and Sei who I constantly see sharpening his scissors. And I don't even know what to make of all of this because I can't keep up with any of them!"

"It seems like just yesterday they were always getting along huh?"

"Yeah. Who knows, maybe it is just a phase, but I can't live with my boys being so rude with one another. I just wish something would change all this constant arguing."

"(Y/n)..."

"I'm going to bed. Goodnight." I rested my head on the pillow and hid the few tears that had leaked out. Sometimes I just wish they were little kids again. The same as they were when we went to the park and played basketball every weekend. Sometimes they even managed to get my lazy butt on the court. And that's hard to accomplish!

MINI TIME SKIP

I woke up the next morning to the smell of food. Kyo always cooks breakfast before the boys go to school and we both go to work. Sadly, my boss fired me a long time ago, but I don't work in journalism anymore and instead work in the pediatric field.

I walked downstairs and saw everyone sitting at the table and eating pancakes. I grabbed a plate and made sure to eat quickly before the boys filed out of the house one by one. Kyo soon followed and I went to at dressed before feeding the dogs and leaving the house.

I got to work and walked towards the lockers where we keep our bags and things until we leave. I closed my locker and saw a coworker of mine, Masaomi, walk into the room.

"Good morning (Y/n)."

"It's a morning alright."

"How's the family?"

"Same as always. You?"

"Oh, my mother just remarried to a man with a daughter Yuusuke's age. They're actually in the same class too."

"Neat. Any pics?"

"From the wedding the other day. See?"

He showed me a picture and I saw a cute little brunette girl in a frilly dress. I also took notice of everyone else in the picture.

"You have two sisters now?"

"Ah! No. That's one of my younger brothers, Hikaru. He cross dresses for research since he writes novels and he's become so used to the style that we rarely see him dressed as a male."

"Neat. Kyo's sister had a friend who did the same thing, but not for research. It was more like for a study, and they felt so much better in the clothing that they didn't really stop."

"Some people surprise me." We both chuckled and slipped on our white coats before going out to check on patients.

It's gonna be another long day.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Hey! I know I haven't been around for a while so I'm going to write a few more chapters before I put all this up.
PS: who knows that anime that Masaomi and his family are from?
Special shout out to the person who knows.
