I woke up the next morning and heard shuffling around the house. I checked the time and noticed it was six in the morning. Oh well. Only thirty minutes earlier than I usually have to get up. I yawned before getting up and going to check on the boys. I walked into the kitchen and saw all of them in uniforms and running around the kitchen.
"Good morning," I said. "How long have you six been up?"
"About ten minutes," Atsushi said with a yawn. "We have school so we brought our uniforms and toothbrushes with us to be able to go to school today."
"Did you have hairbrushes," I asked.
"Yes. But we forgot them at the orphanage," Ryouta said with a sad expression.
"I see. Shintaro, come with me," I motioned the green haired child with me to my bathroom and pulled out an extra hairbrush I had from when I was younger. I made sure it was still strong and walked back over to Shintaro.
"What are you doing, nanodayo?"
"You guys can't go to school with your hair every which way." I quickly brushed his hair and the other boys' hair after that. By the time I was done, I had six wads of multi colored hair. I sighed and put the brush on the bathroom counter.
I quickly put on my clothes before brushing out my own hair and brushing my teeth as well.
"Did you boys pick out last names yet?"
"Yes. Want to hear them?" I nodded before they told me their new last names were Aomine, Kise, Kuroko, Murasakibara, Midorima, and Akashi.
"That's your hair colors."
"That's why we picked them," Ryouta said happily. I giggled before looking at my watch. I grabbed an orange for me and apples for the boys before going outside and realizing a slight problem.
"My car is too small for all of us."
"It's okay (Y/n)chii, we can just pile up together."
"I'm sorry boys. I'll try to get something bigger for all of us later. Until then, are you fine with Ryouta's idea." They all nodded and I quickly got them all in the seats before driving them to their elementary school. "I'll pick you up around three alright?"
They nodded once more before walking off to the building and I sighed heavily. I need some luck soon. I drove to work and went to my desk.
I work writing columns for a fashion magazine. I was writing a review over a new designer before someone came over to my desk and felt someone hit me on the head. I looked up and saw my coworker, Kyo, standing behind me with a magazine in his hand.
"You've been sighing a lot today. What's wrong?"
"I've been a little crazy on things I need."
"Like what?"
"A new vehicle for instance. Not to mention groceries, beds, and much more."
"Wow. What's all that for?"
"Let's just say I took advantage of the day and adopted a couple boys."
"How many is a couple?"
"Well... you know... just... six."
"Six boys!?"
"Shh!! Can you be any louder?"
"Actually yes. But for you I'll be quiet."
"Thank you."
"So six boys? Do you even have any experience with children?"
"Well I used to work part time at a daycare during the summers of my highschool years. Other than that, not really."
