Fever Family and Fear

~Casie's POV~
I wake up to Ryder screaming and crying at 3 am. I go to roll out of bed and Rocky pushes me down.
"It's okay babe I'll go get him"
he says walking out in his boxers. I follow him and go downstairs. We are still living with his parents because the house hasn't went through.
I walk in the kitchen to get a bottle ready and Rocky comes down with my baby who doesn't look right.. I take him from Rocky and I feel he is horribly hot.
"Rocky I think he has a severe fever.."

"Casie it's okay we'll take him to the doctor tomorrow"

"Rocky I'm taking him now I can't just let this go"
I say beginning to cry. Rocky grabs a cold washcloth to put on Ryder.

"Let's try to take the fever down before we go okay babe?"

"Okay but we have until tomorrow morning.."
I say putting the washcloth on him and feeding him before taking him to our bedroom and putting him on the bassinet beside us.
We both laid down on the bed and cuddled. Eventually his mom said that the realtor called and said the house is finally finalized. We left Ryder with Rydel and Alexis and we took the family with us to begin moving.
As I was moving Rocky's jacket, something had fallen out...it was a little black Tiffany's box...
Was Rocky planning on proposing?
I took the box and slipped it in my drawer and thought I'd ask later. I missed my baby. The whole family went home and they were keeping Ryder for the night.
I asked Stormie if he was feeling better and she said he is refusing to eat. I sighed and texted her saying to give him the medicine in the diaper bag. I just want my baby to be okay..Rocky noticed and pulled me aside.
"What's wrong?"

"Ryder won't eat anything"

"He is sick it's probably normal"

"I don't want probably I want to know he's okay!"
I began crying.
"Babe...shhh it's going to be okay"
he says grabbing me tight.
"He's just my life. I would lay my life on the line for that baby"

"He's not too much of a baby he's almost 9 months old. "

"He'll always be my baby"

"I know love but let's go test out our new bed"

He says winking as I slap him in the abs as he throws me over his shoulder as I giggle.
