Motherly Love

Casie's POV:

I am now 8 months pregnant, and it is pure hell. I love the nursery and I love everyone's help. Today is my baby shower. I am soooo excited. We have most of what I need but I can never have enough I guess. I am getting ready and I am feeling really insecure because none of my clothes fit me.. As I am staring at myself in the mirror, Rocky walks behind me and looks me in the eyes.

"Babe what's wrong?" He said.

"Nothing..just fat."

"You're not fat, you're pregnant."

"But Rocky nothing fits me!"

"It's called being pregnant and it'll be over soon."

"Whatever" I say putting on his hockey jersey and some tights. He quickly gets ready and we drive to his mom's home. I ask Rocky for a piggy back ride, because my feet hurt horribly. He gladly accepts and we go and head inside. Everyone greets us with a smile, but I see a person who didn't even know I was pregnant....my mother from Pennsylvania. She looks at me with glaring eyes and I quickly try to hide. She comes over and tries to grab me but thank god, Stormie cuts her off with the request we open presents. Rocky and I begin to open gifts thanking everyone. We have enough diapers now for eight kids.. Everyone quickly goes to eat, including Rocky. My mother stays in the living room and comes up to me angrily.

"Why in the fuck wouldn't you tell me you were pregnant!" She said getting in my face.

" It wasn't any of your business, you threw me out remember." I said not making eye contact.

"Casie! Don't you dare talk to me that way! I am your mother and you will respect me!" She said slapping me and hitting me in the stomach. Tears began to form and she wouldn't stop hitting me and kicking me. I tried to scream and try to get help, but everyone was outside. Finally, I felt my mother be pulled of me and right before I blacked out,I heard screaming, crying, and I felt a fluid begin to run down my leg. I got the words out.

"Take..me..to..hospit."
