Family Affairs

Alexis' POV:

Casie was officially home from the hospital and Ryder is doing really well. Everyone except Casie and I was in the living room with Ryder, while we are in the kitchen talking.

"So you and Ry Ry huh?" she said winking.

"Yeah. I like him a lot and seeing him with Ryder was adorable. " I said smiling.

"Yeah it was. But please don't hurt him or play him because we will have an issue." she said seriously.

"Believe me, I couldn't even if I wanted to." I said smiling.

"Good. But I will be back I am going to get a drink." She said getting up and...she fainted. I jumped up and ran over to her and starting to panic and scream. Just then, Rocky ran in the room followed by the rest of the family. I looked up in shock.

"What the fuck did you you do!?" He said coming over and pushing me and I hit the wall. I got up and ran behind Ryland to avoid getting hurt again. I was bawling at this point. Rocky was cussing and shouting for someone to call 911. About 10 minutes later, the paramedics came and took Casie to the hospital. We all got into the car and drove to the hospital. Rocky was still pissed as ever and he barely even looked at me and if he did it was a pretty mean glare. When we entered the hospital, we went to the waiting room and sat and waited and waited and waited. When finally a doctor came out and started talking to Stormie.

Rocky's POV:

My mom was talking to the doctor and I was so angry I was crying. I can't believe Alexis hurt my baby girl. Finally, the doctor left and my mom came over to me. She began to rub my back and then she spoke.

"Rocky, you need to apologize to Alexis" she said seriously.

"But mom she hurt her!!"

"But Rocky she didn't the doctor told me she had a concussion that they didn't know she had when she was here." She said sympathetically. At this point, I felt like a real douche. I know Alexis had to get stitches in her arm because I pushed her into a glass case. I knew I had to apologize.  I gave my mom a hug and began to make my way to Ryland and Alexis. When Alexis saw me, she hid her face in Ryland's neck. I kneeled down next to her.

"Alexis I am sooo sorry I accused you of hurting Casie. But you have to understand I almost lost her and I don't like that feeling. So can we please start over?" I said pleading. She looks up and smiles and hugs me.

"I would love to start over and I completely understand. " Just as we finished talking Casie was able to be discharged,  but the doctor said she has to be on bed rest for 48 hours and we know she isn't going to like that one bit.
