Chapter 6: Time is irrelevant

Luna's POV- I sit with Animika and Remmie, in a clearing away from the tutella escutcheon. Alec wandered off a few minutes ago muttering something about needing to be away from all the hormones. Remmie is extremely relaxed her head back soaking up the sun. She is wearing extremely modern and casual clothes for a place like this. She has on a white long sleeved t-shirt. It is loose and flowing, I guess is the best way to describe it, from her abdomen to the end of the sleeves. The back is all lace and she has a tank top underneath. She is also wearing light blue jean shorts and a pair of running shoes. It seems as if a happy easy going smile is permanently attached to her face. Not in a bad way, not like one of those overly preppy, obnoxious smiles that certain people seemed to have surgically engrained on themselves. It's just a simple smile, but says so much. Like the fact that she is kind and caring, and always seeing the best in others. The way she leans against Animika, still in her wolf form, in such a relaxed manner shows you a) how they have a such a close friendship, and b)how even though she doesn't know the extent of my power, she is not even slightly worried that I might try something.

Animika on the other hand, does not look relaxed. She stares at me with such intensity I feel like something might light on fire, explode, or both. Animika doesn't seem to trust me, but then again I wouldn't trust me either. Every time I even so much as move my hand to itch my nose her lips are already pulled back ready to snarl and, I don't know, like eat me or something. In all honesty, Animika is the closest anyone's every come to being scary to me...

"So... where are we exactly?" I ask finally breaking the long silence.

"Well, it doesn't really have a name..." Remmie trails off.

"Oh..." I reply, "Well, is it a different dimension from the one I came from?"

"Oh well, what dimension did you come from?" She asks slightly intrigued.

"Well I feel slightly stupid right now cause I can't remember the accurate name for it right now..." she nods for me to continue anyway, "Well it's the one with the humans..."

She beams at me, "That was our dimension to, me and Animika I mean!"

"Animika, and I!" Animika corrects. She walks back into the clearing. I hadn't even realized she'd left until now. However, if I think about it the atmosphere did seem to feel lighter and more relaxed once she left. I guess she really doesn't like me. Now she is in her human form. She has dark brown, wavy, thick hair that comes to like the bottom of her shoulder blades. She is wearing a dark blue t-shirt with the outline of a horse on it in brown. She has on blue denim shorts that come to just above her knee. Her eyes are quite a striking deep brown. I don't know how you make brown striking, but somehow she does.

"That's not the point Mika!" Remmie whines in a happy childish way, "The point is, it's where we're originally from, and that it is in fact a different dimension from this one!"

Animika laughs at her friends words. Then Alec walks into the clearing again.

"So are you two like... together, or something?" he asks gesturing to Animika and Remmie.

"Alec!" I reprimand.

"What you're the one without the filter!" He says in return, referring to the metaphorical filter most people have to screen what comes out of their mouth.

"Well one, you have less of a filter than I do, and two it never even crossed my mind that they might be together! Want to know why? Because all I see is to really good friends!" I'm up on my feet now, "How would you like it if someone just automatically assumed you and I are dating? Let me guess, you'd hate it!"
