Chapter 8: Cue the Dramatic Exit

Luna's POV- I stand there, my mouth hanging open. Not at all sure how to react. But Mika seems to know how to respond.

"You know, from everything I've heard and just saw, I'm pretty sure that boy takes classes on dramatic speeches and exits! Like come on! He must practice this stuff in the mirror or something, 'cause nobody comes up with this kinda stuff on the spot!" Mika states.

"You're right Mika, it did seem very perfect and practised." Remi agrees.

"Of course I'm right!" Mika replies confidently.

"Wow, now that I think about it, that does make sense Mika." Alec pipes in.

Mika laughs, "Yeah, and cue the dramatic exit!"

They all start laughing.

"Seriously guys!" I shout annoyed, "We just found out the Damian plans on destroying all worlds, and using me to do it, and you guys are standing around joking about the types of speeches and exits Damian uses? Come on! We shouldn't care whether he uses dramatic exits or plane old regular ones! We should be figuring out a plan to stop him!"

"As much as any of hate to admit this but we're all only kids. I mean what can we do? None of us have competed our training, how are we supposed to beat him?" Alec says.

"No. We aren't just kids. Mika, you're 15 years old and the most successful and talented fighter in all worlds. Remi, you're legendary, your battle tactics are the best in history. Alec, your agility and combat in the air is the best there has ever been. We may be kids, but we are also so much more. We haven't finished our training? Fine, we'll finish it in there," I point to the tuttela escheon, "We'll conjure all the things we need for it. You'll need all the battle history books ever made, and every single map of every world and land ever, Remi. Mika you'll need a lot of targets, all books on fighting, and every weapon ever known. Alec, you'll also need a lot of targets, lots of flying space, and all books on flight combat, yes even the plane ones." I finish shrugging as if this will be a simple task.

"What will you need?" Remi asks me.

"Oh me? Oh all need a lot of space and a ton of books on magic." I answer.

"Wait, wait, wait! Are you telling me, your entire plan is based around reading a crap load of books?" Alec questions me, astonished.

"Yeah, pretty much." Mika replies for me.

"Seriously, Luna!!! You know how much I hate reading!"Alec whines.

"Fine! You come up with a better plan that doesn't involve reading! I just thought that since we don't know how to use our abilities to their full extents then maybe we would want to learn! What do you need to learn? Oh that's right teachers! Wait we don't have any! So I thought next best thing would be books! Sorry for trying to fix our problems!" I shout at Alec annoyed.

He doesn't say anything for a minute, then, "Fine, whatever."

"So are you two done bickering now? 'Cause I would kind of like to get to work." Mika says with slight annoyance.

We all walk back to the tutella escutcheon. Alec and I now having passed through once are able to pass through with ease.

Once at the clearing, where we had previously all been enjoying the day, Remi conjures up columns upon columns of books. Each one with a label on the end.

"There. Now we have our own little library." Remi beams.

"There's nothing little about this." Alec mutters.
