Chapter 3

So sorry guys for the late update! I've been crazy busy lately I'll try and update every week! I swear! Again realy sorry for the late update!

Chapter 3: Round 2: Demon 2- Angel 0

Alec's Pov- When we get far enough into the forest that I was sure no one would see I start slowly and stealthily advancing on the demon boy. I make sure he can't here or see me as I stalk closer. Finaly when I think it is safe I lung at him. The boy whirls gracefully, and forecfully slams his foot into my chest. I go flying backward with such force that when I slam into a tree I hear it crack.

"That's quite a hard head you got there pretty boy!" The demon sneers.

"You have no idea!" I say as I stand, "By the way, nice move! Where'd you learn it?"

"Oh wouldn't you like to know! But seeing as how your going to be unconsious for the next little while there's realy no point in me telling you is there?" he laughs.

"Wait wha-" I don't even have time to finish as a ball of whirling blue light comes at me. When it hits my chest I feel an odd sense of lightness, then nothing.

Luna's Pov- I watch as a ball of blue flys from the demon boys hands and smashes into Alec's chest. I want to reach out to him but I know it's a stupid idea. If I am to get what I came here for then I have to stay nuetral. Alec's expresion lightens for a moment, and he all most looks happy. Then his exspression goes blank and he crumples to the ground.

"Round 2: Demon 2, Angel 0." I state flatly.

"Um if you don't mind me asking," the demon boy turns to me, "Where did you get round 2, and how did I get 2 points? I mean that was a nice fight on my part but if we're being kind then I'd only give it 1 point?"

"Well when you brought him into the forest, that was round 1 and he lost! See any angel with any sense at all would ask to stay in a more public area after hearing about the things you've done! No matter how private the matter!"

"Ah I see! And what is it exactly that I've done?"

"Killed a couple upper demon's and monster's, oh and the 5 monarch angel's of course!"

"Ah yes! And let me guess, the angel monarchs have requested that you kill me, yes?"

"Oh no quite the opposite infact! They want to know who you are, where you get your power from, why you have so much power, and on a personal note from me to you, does this have anything to do with my parents?"

"Now, now! 1 question at a time! I may answer your questions, but you have to answer some of mine first!" he doesn't even wait for me to agree to these terms he just dives right in, "If I don't answer the counsils question, what will happen?"

"Well they will probably have me kill you, so now will you answer the questions?"

"Um no! I have 1 more question for you!" He strides quickly up to me so now he's right in my face. He's about an inch and a half taller than me. Most people would find his height menacing. I don't, the way he stands and uses his height, it's like he's baiting me, chalenging me. I guess he's heard about me to. My one major weakness. I won't back down, especialy to a chalenge.

I straiten my shoulders and draw myself up to my full height as I say, "Oh and what might that be?"

"If your so curious about all this," he gestured with his hands to the space around him including himself, "Then come with me and find out!"
