Why can't I do anything but think about this guy. It's just a person.. I never really liked people. They kinda scare me in a way that I've always retreated into this little shell.

Now I'm here, the worst part of school in the entire world... Gym class. I know no one. No person at all and they expect me to do 'team bonding' things with a couple of girls.

I looked across the gym to where the boys practice. They were all doing push ups and I cringed my shoulders inward, squeezing my eyes shut hoping to God that I'd get left behind or forgotten.

Ugh it was such a drag. The sun was too...sunny. I understand the correct ways light hits earth and the capacity of what exact percentage my skin can handle.

Then something terrible happened. A girl approached me. She approached me. Why?!

"Are you going to just stand there? You're not helping us get any better grades!" The girl scoffed, her totally dumb voice and blonde curls showed off her low IQ.

I didn't say anything. I wasn't sure how to react so I played with a pebble in the dirt with the toe of my sneaker. My arms were crossed self consciously and I heard her groan before thumping away. My heart was dropping and I was terrified. I'm going to be bullied and picked on along with being 'sexually harassed' the rest of highschool! Great way to start Cas! I thought, my mind whirring like a helicopter propeller.

After gym I grabbed my things and left quickly, automatically being shoved into the wall by the crowd of unruly teenage girls who needed to go to the bathroom to smoke marijuana or something like that. My eyes flicker across the hall. My heart skipped a beat I think.

I hustled away, knowing that I am not supposed to get involved with other humans. I didn't want to. They are extremely scary and unpredictable.

I sighed and walked into my 7th period class.

Dean

"I can tell that she noticed me!" I moaned, sitting next to Garth. He clicked a pen and it was annoying the crap out of me. "Do you mind?!"

The clicking stopped. "No." It started again and I almost ripped the hair from my scalp. I turned around and snatched the stupid pen from Garth's hand.

"Really?! Was that necessary?" Garth complained.

"Listen to me then wouldja?"

"Yeah yeah I heard. Dude you need to stop obsessing over stupid people. People cause trouble. You specifically cause trouble." He raised his eyebrow.

Silence. I chose to say nothing.

"But she won't even say a word to me!" I said after a long while. A sudden long chair squeak made me turn around.

"I said enough, Dean. Drop it with your girl problems!" Garth said though I could tell his amusement.

The rest of the day sped by quickly and I started to walk home. I had left the car to Sam for his trip to Bobby's. Besides, the house wasn't too far. At least it wasn't raining today.

I heard shouting from the alley over the next. Thinking that maybe something worth seeing was happening, I raced to where the noise was coming from.

My breath hitched my heart basically stopped. Three jocks stood facing the brick wall. Against the wall with wild blue eyes and her trench coated pulled half off along with her shirt basically torn everywhere stood 'the girl'. Damn I need to get her name.

"Hey!" I shouted, sudden anger fizzling within me.

"It's Winchester, the girl banger himself. Tell me that you're making friends with this one just to get under her belt!" One of them named Jake said, tossing his head up.

The girl looked even more scared and deep within, she looked betrayed. Her blue eyes watered as silver tears slid down her face.

I took a breath. I just then, lied through my teeth, regretting it instantly but then plans forming into my mind. "Yeah... Hey guys why don't you grab your bags and meet me at the playhouse. We can have fun with this one." I nodded the direction of the girl.

"Alright, Winchester." Another jock said and they all walked to one end of the alley.

Quick as lighting I whipped around.

"Do you trust me?" I whispered urgently. She just stared at me dead on. Why? Did she not understand. Never mind, no duh I they just said I was in it for her and I agreed. "Please. We are just going through trust falls here. I'm-" the jocks started back my way and I held onto the girls arm, pretending I'm holding her captive.

"See you soon Winchester. Don't harm that pretty little face." Jake said.

"Yeah yeah thanks but her face is much prettier."

"I meant her face dumbass." Jake laughed and scruffed my hair. "Come quick, this'll be entertaining. Master at work." He winked and took his posse away.

"C'mon hurry." I said, pulling her to her feet gently and picking up her wet jacket. It was laying in a puddle of muddy water. Then I packed up her bag.

She stared at me again. She was hurt, I could tell. She didn't trust me. I could tell. She was scared. I could tell.

"Okay so here's the plan. We aren't going to that stupid playhouse. I wouldn't dream of it. All that stuff I said; lies." I said gently. "They will come back if they find out we aren't going there. Please come with me I won't hurt you."

She stared at me with hurt blue eyes for a couple moments. Then gave a slight nod and I started walking. I looked back; she was limping a lot and I knew I couldn't just let her walk on that ankle.

I went back to her and more physical pain glazed her eyes.

"D-Do you mind?" I asked awkwardly, motioning to her ankle.

She shook her head and as less awkward as I could, I scooped her up in my arms. It was really awkward though anyways.

At last we made it to my place. It was basically the longest ten minutes of my entire life.

I set her down on the couch and she let out a little high pitched sound of pain as her injured left ankle bumped the course fabric.

"Sorry." I whispered. Taking another look I realized all the clothes on her were very muddy and disgusting. "One sec." I said, biting me lip.

Jogging into my room, I grabbed the smallest t-shirt I had and a pair of jeans, which I know wouldn't fit but better than what she was wearing now.

"Here. I'm going to the kitchen to get supplies to help your wound." I nodded towards her ankle.

Cas

I watched him leave and looked around the corner to make sure he didn't see me changing. I'm not sure how to put it. Insecure? I guess so.

I slipped off my shirt, which was tattered into pieces. Not like Dean didn't see my bra through the tears in the shirt anyways. Then I slipped on a black t-shirt with a V-neck. Don't had me why Dean wears V-necks....

Next was the difficult step. Getting my tighter pants off around my injured ankle. I started the process, working my fingers around the pants at the bottom.  Then I quickly pulled it off and it hurt for five seconds before the pain ceased.

I put the oversized jeans on. That was easy because they weren't right at the bottom. Belt? No belt I guess. I looked around at Dean's house. It was a little messy but cozy.

My hair was all messed up and there was no brush. So I pulled it all back into a simple pony tail with a rubber band I found on the coffee table.

I'm okay. I'm safe. I-I feel like I can trust this 'Dean Winchester'.
