"Did you change Eve's diaper!" Mia holds the baby in her arms, bouncing her, trying to get her to stop screaming.

"Twice." I groan. "Did you feed her?"

"She just had a bottle."

I can tell Mia is overwhelmed so I reach my arms out, gesturing for her to give me Evelyn. Mia sighs heavily, gently handing over the small child.

Within seconds Evelyn cries stop and her bright green eyes stare up at me.

"How?!" Mia breathes with frustration. "Why does she love you and not me? What am I doing wrong?"

"Hey now." I nudge her. "When the day comes that you become a mother you will do great. It's just that Evelyn is used to me."

"I just feel like I am doing something wrong." Mia crosses her arms with a shrug.

I look down at Evelyn and she is fast asleep. I set her down in the makeshift crib Niall and Charlie brought over.

"You are amazing." I pull Mia close to me, her dark brown eyes staring up at me. "Evelyn loves you, she is just stubborn like her mother."

"I love you so much." She takes my face in her hands.

I met Mia toward the end of the summer, waitressing at the pub. But I was so clouded by the delusion that I would date Charlie, that I didn't realize the perfect girl was right in front of me.  Once I realized what I really needed it was like a weight was lifted off my shoulders and Mia was the one lifting it.

"I love you so much more." I press my lips against her pulp pink ones, her body syncing with mine.

"Didn't anyone ever tell you to lock your fucking door?"

I am startled by Niall and Charlie coming into my apartment.

"Niall shut up Eve's asleep." Charlie hits him in the chest. "You two are a blessing." She hugs both Mia and I before leaning down into the crib, moving Eve to the car seat. "We needed a night out and I couldn't thank you two more."

Charlie starts to ruffle through her purse but I quickly stop her. "You don't need to pay us we wanted to watch her. I like hanging out with me god daughter." I shrug.

"She loves you." Niall rolls his eyes. "I don't get it."

"It's the hair." Mia grins. "It's always the hair."

"It gets you now doesn't it?"

"Oh you know that man bun does things to me." Mia nudges me.

"The moment we leave she is going to wake up I can just feel it." Charlie signs and I lead them to the door.

"We can take her off your hands if you would like." I laugh.

"No." Niall growls at me. "You can make one on your own." He hits me hard in the chest and smiles at Mia.

"Before you go are you guys going to the wedding next week?" Mia quickly asks as Niall opens the front door.

"Oh I was going to ask about that!" Charlie answers with glee. "We figured since it's in Chicago we could all just car pool. I mean if you are okay with Evelyn in the back."

"I would actually really love that." Mia nods and I sling my arm over her shoulder, leaning into her slightly.

"Well I guess we will call you when the time comes." I nod.

"I can't stop thanking you for tonight." Charlie says, handing the car seat, with the sound asleep child inside, to Niall. "You two are life savers."

"Any time." Mia nods with a smile. She waits by the door of our small town house until Charlie and Niall's Suburban disappears.

"I am ready for bed." Mia groans, leaning into me and I drag her into the bedroom.

I plop her down on the bed and she groans even more.

"You look adorable." I scuff as I remove my shirt and throw on a pair of sweat pants. I push Mia over and sink into the bed, wrapping my arms around her petite body.

"You are engulfing me." Mia laughs.

"But you love it." I nuzzle my face into her neck.

"Harry I have been thinking about us." Mia sighs getting serious for a moment.

I move around in bed, so I can look up at Mia.

"Should I be worried?"

"I just want to know what's happening?" She shrugs. "I mean we have been together for a while now and we are happy but I just want to know if we are going anywhere. Especially with the baby on the way. I don't want to be on my own in this."

"I had something romantic planned but you have to go and ruin it for me." I roll my eyes, getting out of bed. I saunter over to my dresser, opening up my underwear draw. I pull out the small black box, turning back to Mia.

She scrambles to the edge of the bed, her hands covering her mouth as I get down on one knee.

"Oh my god." I can see the tears in her eyes brimming and I can't help but grin.

"Mia, I have known for a few years now and I can honestly say it has been the best years of my life." I shrug and she grabs both of my wrists. "Before you, I had no clue what I was doing. But now that you are here I can't imagine a world without you. Mia." I sigh. "Will you do me the honor of being my wife."

She is silent for a moment, trying to catch her breath as I open the small box. No words come out but she quickly nods.

"Yes?" I laugh from excitement.

"Yes!" She continues to nod as I put the ring on her finger. "Yes!"

I stand up, bringing Mia into a warm embrace.

"You will look so beautiful in white." I say in a sigh of relief.

"Everyone is just going to think we are getting married because you knocked me up." She laughs, resting her forehead on my chest, shaking her head.

"Who gives a fuck what other people think." I shrug. "All that matters is that you are happy. All I want is your happiness Mia."

"As long as I am with you." She smiles up at me. The smile that I will get to look at for the rest of my life.
