NIALL'S P.O.V.

As much as I don't want to leave Charlie, she would be better off upstairs then down here with my family. I grab a mug from the cupboard and pour myself a cup of coffee.

"What the hell Niall?" My mum sits at the kitchen table along with Greg and Denise. Theo plays with some toys on the floor.

"I thought you would be happy to see me?" I shrug.

"After what happened last time." My mum shakes her head in frustration. "You stayed for a night and left the next day without a word because of some girl."

"She isn't just some girl." I narrow my eyes at my family sitting around the table. Denise doesn't pay any attention to us, watching her son play and Greg gives me a look of guilt.

"How long have you even been together!?" She starts to raise her voice.

"I came here to plan my wedding, hoping you would be on board with this." I set my mug of the counter, moving over the table.

"We haven't seen you in months Niall." I can see the tears in her eyes. "And you come here with this women, springing marraige on us. Why the hell would I be on board with this?"

"I am happy for you." Greg pipes up and everyone turns to look at him. "I was the only one who saw you before you left for school." He continues. "I knew how much of a mess you were. I was also the last person to see you before you left to get her back. Although you seemed like a wreck for the fact that you were broken up you were still hopeful at the fact that you just got to see her again."

I give Greg a small smile and nod.

"I know what I was in the past and Charlie knows that. Charlie knows the real me and yet she still loves me." I sigh, leaning into the table. "I love her mum. She is my everything."

"She is American." My mum laughs a bit. "You always said you would marry an Irish girl."

"She is better than I ever thought I would have. And I can soon call her mine." I slowly run my fingers through my hair.

"Dinner will be ready in a couple hours." My mum explains. "Go be with her."

I sigh a moment before nodding and making my way back upstairs into my bedroom where Charlie lays, asleep.

I take my position, laying next to her, wrapping my arms around her waist and pulling her close. She wakes up with a yawn and turns to face me. She looks at me with a small smile. "Good evening."

"Hello my love." I move a piece of hair away from her face.

"Did you talk to your mom?"

"Greg is very fond of you." I nod. "True love he says."

"And your mother?" Charlie pushes.

"She likes you." I tell her and she raises an eyebrow at me. "She really does. She is even going to make us dinner."

CHARLIE'S P.O.V.

Niall sits up so he is leaning against the head board and I sit up so my head rest on his chest.

"I should really call Liam. Let him know I got here okay." I reach over Niall, grabbing my phone off the bedside table.

"Be quick." Niall tells me as I remove myself from the bed. "I want to be with you."

I nod at him as the phone rings.

"Charlie?" Liam's voice sends me to my safe place back home. "How was your flight? Is everything okay? How is Niall's family."

I look back at Niall for a moment before stepping outside of the bedroom, traveling down to the end of the hallway.

"I miss you." I sigh. "I miss home."

Liam sighs as well and I can picture him running his fingers through his short hair. "Niall didn't hurt you did he?"

"God no!" I shake my head. "Niall and I couldn't be better. In fact he is the one making this feel like home."

"Then what is it?"

"I don't know. I can't put my finger on it but it might have something to do with the fact that his mother hates me." I shrug, hoping Niall can't hear me.

"She can't hate you." I can see Liam rolling his eyes. "She doesn't hate you Charlie."

"You didn't see the way she looked at me Liam." I pace the hallway. "All she sees me as is the girl who took her son away from her."

"That's not true Charlie." Liam responds. "I don't want you to worry about this right now. Dani and I will be coming in a couple of days to help out with the wedding. And I believe Iris, Louis and the others are coming."

"Is Harry coming?"

Liam hesitates for a moment, but doesn't get a chance to respond.

"Charlie, tell Liam he can wait." Niall steps out of the bedroom, moving closer to me, running his fingers down my arm. "We have things to discuss." He whispers in my ear.

"I will talk to you later." Liam groans in disgust. I hang up and look up at Niall who towers over me.

"You look guilty. Why do you look guilty?" Niall follows me as I make my way back into the bedroom slowly shutting the door behind him.

"Liam said that everyone was coming in a couple days." I turn to look at him.

"Yeah I already booked their hotels at a nice place downtown that some family friends run."

"Who is all coming?" I question, slowly sitting down on the bed.

"Uh" He looks over at me confused but continues. "Iris, Louis, Liam, Dani, Zayn, and Harry, I believe."

"Harry is coming?" I look up at him, eyebrows furrowed, as he nears me.

"Is that going to be a problem?" I can already see him getting heated over the matter.

"Not in the way you are thinking." I scuff.

"You are making it fucking seem that way so where else would my mind wander to?"

"All I am saying is that I am surprised you invited him due to your history."

Niall lets out a deep breath, running his fingers through his hair. "We resolved things. Have you two ended things?"

"Niall, what are you talking about?" I shake my head in confusion. "There was nothing to end. I thought we had figured this all out."

"I thought we had too but when you bring Harry up like that, you send me back."

"It's not like that Niall." I shake my head. "It has never been like that."

"I don't thi-"

Before Niall has a chance to finish the bedroom door opens and Greg pops his head in. "Uh, sorry to interrupt but mum wanted me to let you know dinner is ready." He gives us a quick nod before leaving us alone in the small room.

"We should probably get down there." Niall turns away from me as he gets up, opening the door.

"Niall we need to talk about this." I stress, grabbing for his hand but he just slips from my grasp.

"Dinner is ready." He barely glances at me over his shoulder, making his way downstairs.
