After 10 hours since Naruto was admitted to the hospital he rest of Konoha 11 gathered around Naruto's hospital bed not minding the restricted movements that could be made within the cramped space.

This is the day, the day they wpuld know if he would die or not.

"How is his condition?" Sasule briefly asked the medic from the previous day.

"I'm sorry, but his condition has worsened." Then she paused for a minute, and dropped her head not wanting to see the other's expressions. The shinobi youths on the other hand filled the room with gasps and faint sobs.

"He has been experiencing internal bleeding and massive blood loss, his organs got slightly squeezed. He has a few twisted muscles. His bruises and wounds have been healing rapidly due to his bloodline and chakara though. Though his greatest injure is the small small hole through his right artery. He may miraculously awaken within the next 38 hours, but there is one thing I can assure you. I'm sorry but his death is certain after that amount of time given. So if you'll excuse me I shall be taking my leave." The medic nin said before taking her leave.

As she left the room, at fitful of painful sobs can be heard throughout the room.

"Why? Why....please....Naru-to k-kun... O-on-egai..." was all Hinata could befit to say. She felt her heart crumble to a million pieces. Through all those years of constant watching, through all those years memories made with him, all the inpiration, hope, courage, faith and love, all gone and to be gone within thirty eight hours. And just when she knew he loved her. But she was happy also. For him comming to her life and became her ray of sunshine for years, for being her inspiration and for always being the same against all odds.

Or is it?

The others were sobbing too. But not as hard as yesterday.

For they know that he would not want this. That he would be saddened of they would cry for him. Though Naruto made it clear to them that you can change your destiny, this is just impossible. They would find themselves thinking that this is only just a bad dream and they would eventually wake up, but this is so surreal. So instead they felt greatful that they still had a chance to speak to him.

And they proved to be right. For after twelve hours, they saw those pair of blue orbs that gave them new hope.

So the tears they shed were not in vain.
