◎Chapter 13◎ The fight for protection

Naruto broke out of trance and walked towards the cage where the kyubi put him in.

When he reached his destination he just stood still and stared into Makinto's eyes. He then began absorbing the energy within barier.

"Your not the Kyubi anymore. Am I right." The ex anbu asked the blonde as the boy finished absorbing the nature energy and entered into Sage mode.

"Yes it is I, Uzumaki Naruto."

"But how? I though you were dead! The kyubi said---" Makinto shouted in his cell.

"And the Kyubi is still a fox. I did not die, never did. Kyubi lied." Naruto stated as he stared intently at Makinto.

"Senjutsu huh?" He asked.

"I simply absorb nature energy... Do I really need to explain it to you?" Naruto shouted.

"I did not ask you to, bakka!" Makinto replied.

"Oh shut up. You will die anyway." Uzumaki said. "That cell is made of nature chakra as well. So if you try to destroy it like what you are doing now... you will turn to dust." He explained.

"So what do you intend on doing now?" The scarred man asked.

"I want to finish this once and for all." Naruto was about to land an attack on Makinto when he managed to switch places with a clone.

"A total waste of chakra." He teased. But then he fell to the ground yet again and felt a familliar pain. He looked at his foe on the ground but he saw him doing a tiger seal.
'He's controlling my nervous system. He's draining all my senjutsu chakra. I've got to make him... that's it!"

"S-so yuh-you wan-na play ro-rough huh?" Naruto said as he gets up, panting.

"H-how?" Makinto stared at disbelief. "You souldn't have the strenth even to move your eyelids!"

"Remember...When... people are protecting something truly special to them. They truly can become as stong as can be.

I simply cut our connection like what I did with Kurama. Something I learned from stalking a Hyuga. I... released my chakra out of every little part of my body. Then I molded it until it became nice and sharp... thus breaking your weak connection." Then he smirked and began to create a series of handseals. "Fuuton: Daitoppa (Wind release: Great breakthrough)!" A tsunami like of wind blades came rushing towards Makinto.

"Doton: Kyousei Dobei (Earth release: Great wall)!" He shouted and deflected  Naruto's technique but was cut by a wind blade through the wall. A barrage of clones charged as an opening was created. Makinto engaged them in a taijutsu match, quickly minimizing their ammount.

"Bunshin Daibakuha (Great clone ezplosion)!" And just then the fighting clones exploded but Makinto switch places with another one of his hidden clones.

"Chicken!" Naruto teased and recieved a swarm of Kunai.

"Ikusen kage kunai no Butoukai (Dance of a thousand kunais)!" The anbu shouted and threw thousand of kunai at Naruto who deflected them with a...

"Fuuton: Shoumei Kakumau (wind release: Divine shield)"

Then a blue shield came spinning in a great speed that could put a Hyuga's Kaiten to shame. (But Naruto is not spinning).

The two were already panting hard. One was weakened by the long lasting poison while the other ran out of chakra.

The ex anbu charged the blonde with a sword in hand which he intercepted with his hand and managed to throw the sword away. But one again fell to the ground coughing up blood.

Makinto took advantage of the situation and once again.

"You are such a foolish boy! Why waste your dammned life to save others?" He asked the gaping blonde.

"Sh-shut... u-up..." The Uzumaki commanded. 'Damn it. The the pain's still affecting me because I didn't take those meds.'

"They are only fools... but you are no better." He continued completely ignoring his command.

"*pant* *pant* Shut *pant* up..."

"You get fooled too easily that you don't know your being used. You just end up hurt every time... and still not understanding a thing."

"I said shut up!" Naruto bellowed and shout out a huge suge of chakra that send the root flying. "You are the the one who does not understand! Yes I the treatment I recieve is unjust. But beyter look at it as a challenge for me to prove myself! I do not care if they hut me anymore... because they already saved me. They gave me a goal. And I could not wish for more. Now I feel so stupid to think of ending my life... Now I have to finish this..."

Flashback end...
Naruto's POV

I do not quite remember the details of the fight. But after that I ended up in my apartment collapsed to the ground before I could tend to my wound.

Sad to say but Makinto is still kicking. He took advantage of my situation. He even called back up to try and beat me half to death. I managed to kill all of his subordinates. But not him... the chicken fled off before I could face him after I killed the last of his back up.

I remember that fight not because I regret of not finishing it earlier. But to let it become an inspiration on what my goal really is. I did not recover from my past injuriescompletely. I am fit to continue on though. But the chances of me living through this are fatal. Now... I think that I wil die in the end of the day because of my situation. I just hope my plan will work. And I could save konoha... once again.
