◎Chapter 8◎The Birthday Bash

2 days after the war

"The time has come. Let us steal back what should have been the rightful place of our fallen master! Let us show them our true power as a small token of grattitude to master Danzo, and take over Konoha, in his name!" The leader shouted to the dark armanda in front of him. They may be small in numbers due to the loss of personel during the war, but the strength and will of their darkness still afloats their beings.

"All hail master Danzo! And may his will live!" They chant repeatedly in union.

"Let us go forth with the blazing fire within, and smite the fire shadow's life! Scatter!" And by the signal given, the dark armanda slid from their hideout to the darkness of the night.

"Your will be done when hell freezes all over." A tall shinobi whispered to himself in the darkness and took off himself.

"Belated Happy Bithday Naruto!" Greeted his friends, senseis and the Hokage and a few more nins. They were in Konoha's park.

"Y-you guys." Replied a teary eyed blonde.

"Ah don't be emotional now ei." Kiba says and pats his back.

"Thanks guys. This means a lot. I rarely even remember my birthday, much even to think of celebreting it." He says while smiling bluntly.

"This is the first time I ever celebrated it. Even though it's a bit late dont'cha think?" And all of them laughed.

"So if that the case, come on and let's party!" Shouted Tsunade.

"W-wait! How do we even party!" Naruto asked a bit confused.

"Fist let's give a toast---" Tsunade started holding a sake bottle.

"Nah ah ah Baa chan. *takes the bottle* since it's my birthday, no sake allowed." Naruto hissed.

"B-b-but-but---" She stamered teary eyed.

"But no! I don't want anyone going home drunk." He scolded Tsunade. "Besides, were not of legal age." He added and everyone laughed.

"Killjoy." The Hokage murmured and the others laughed louder.

"Picture time!" Izumo yelled as he entered the room with Kotetsu.

The party may not ended as Tsunade planned, but nothenless, it was enjoyable. There was dancing, singing eating and a lot of picture were taken. There were so much people that it wasn't eligable to consider just a bithday party. I was like a bonding time and rest time as ninja's for a while. It was so lively that Naruto just had to smile. Never in Konoha history did this happen, that all the ninjas in Konoha were present. They can't actually argue with it since Naruto called every ninja near to join. And of course, Tsunade got back her bottle.

The party went off with a blast, literally! There was an explosion in the middle of the crowd followed by smoke. In less than a minute Black ANBU were scattered among the crowd.

"Stand your ground!" Yelled a random jonnnin.

Thus the battle begins. The partying ninja's were in a bit disadvantage, because they were not in their ninja gear. The battle took as long as almost an hour. The un-geared nins fought agains Shurikens, Kunais, and Knives with their bare hands, barely fighting without getting hurt. In the end, the the root members ended, either tied up or unconsious. Only a few were dead.

"Well that's all sorted." Choji declares triumphantly.

"Yes. Hey Naruto where have ya been? You missed out on all the fun." Asked a tipsy Kiba who accidentally drank sake, which he thought was water.

"Well I was here." He snaped back.

"Where is Tsunade sama." Shizune asked, worried about her misstress.

"She's fine. I asked an ANBU together with my clone to bring her home immediately." He answered with a feel of authority.

"But I didn't see you during the fun... I-I mean fight." Kiba asked again.

"I just did some personal bussiness." Then he smirked.

"That was the day he completely destroyed our plans. He managed to take some of our comrades into custody, convince some of our men to change sides and killed most of our best men. He also managed to sabotage our whole plan to rule and convinced the Hokage to have a close eye on us. He knew we planed to overtake the government, he spied on us.

Tricky demon, just like the fox sealed into him! Just like his parents. Just like his dad." Makinto explained then smirked. The teens were dumbfound. 'Was this what their dead-last was capable of.' They knew that Naruto was stong, but not to the point that he could sabotage Root's Plan.

"All this time he knew. But he didn't try to tell you, even the slightest hint. Why? Oh maybe either he doesn't trust you, or you wouldn't believe in him." Then the ANBU smirked big time.

Flashback...

Naruto silently slid across the empty chambers inside the Root's hideout. He somehow memirozed the hideout's whereabouts. The blonde gennin smirked inwardly.

Naruto performed the required jutsu needed to enter that room

He snuck inside one of the lair's chambers. This particular room held their maps, journals, reports, scrolls and most importantly their records. These records hold their original ninja status which they kept a secret. Even the Hokage had no access to these files. The records will prove that the Black ANBU is hiding even something from the village's comitee. And there would also be a big book of records which held all of the Root's missions Danzo personally had to keep track of his army.

The blonde took out a scroll and sealed the book together with some other valuable files needed to prove this fact to those stick-in-the-mud council.

He did a Katon jutsu to burn the remaining files. Then he prepared for his next step.

"What are you doing here Uzumaki?"
