-(Cameron's POV)-

A week goes by as does another basketball game.

And no, Ryder isn't here.

Apparently he's not even with Felicia either.

I sigh as the warm water soothes my muscles.

"Tonight was awesome! We completely demolished the other team." Eli says smiling widely.

I give a smile back. "We sure did. It was great."

No more words are said as we finish showering.

I shut the water off and dry myself before putting on a simple grey hoodie and shorts.

I walk into the locker rooms and put my stuff in my bag and suddenly feel a hand tap my shoulder.

I look up and see Eli standing there.

"What's up?" I ask.

His cheeks flush pink.

"I wanted to see if you would like to hang out tomorrow? As a date?"

I smile. "Sure. I'd like that."

"Really?" He asks.

I nod and he smiles and hugs me tightly.

"I'll call you and pick you up at 5."

"Sounds good." I say.

We start walking out of the locker rooms.

"Can I um, hold your hand?" He asks.

I laugh and take his hand in mine.

His hands are a bit rough, unlike Ryder's, but they're still nice.

Wait.

Did I just compare his hands to Ryder's?

No. I just made a simple observation.

We talk about everything and anything until we make it outside.

"Hey Cam! How was the game?" Ryder asks as we make it further out.

"It was fine." I shrug.

"He means totally awesome. Cameron made like half the shots." Eli says smiling brightly.

I just wave him off.

"Oh stop being so modest Cam. You kicked ass."

Ryder suddenly stops walking, making me and Eli stop too.

"Are you two dating?" Ryder asks.

"By tomorrow, yes." Eli answers winking at me.

"Oh."

"I'm gonna head out though. See you tomorrow Cam."

Eli pecks my cheek and walks towards his car.

Once he drives off Ryder shifts his gaze to me.

"You and Eli huh?"

I roll my eyes. "Yes."

"When were you planning on telling me?"

"He asked me out like fifteen minutes ago. Calm down."

"And you said yes? Why?"

Why did I say yes?
