Hidden princess

...Natsu's POV...

I dragged Lucy back to Mira's class she wouldn't look up though. When we came back the class had settled down and everyone was eyeing us eagerly. I eyed them cautiously making sure they got my hint to not over whelm her.

"So...you're a celestial mage huh? Plus you're a princess too. Huh.. well that's pretty damn cool Lucy."

Cana exclaimed excitedly. She smiled at Lucy which still refused to look up. I put my hand under her chin forcing her to look in my eyes. She blushed, and I couldn't help but hold back a laugh. Such a cutie I swear. But I put on a serious face.

"Luce.. please. No one's mad at you I swear, actually we were all really surprised you didn't tell us sooner. Ya' know since we all consider ourselves your friends now. Unless you rather we didn't."

She punched my arm playfully and humpfed. Making me laugh that time as she pouted.

"Of course I do you idiot. I just thought you guys would be mad at me and push me away like everyone else...."

"Of course not I love you lu-chan!" Levy exclaimed happily running to hug luce who hugged her back, everyone took turns reassuring her that we all still wanted Lucy at Fairytale. And that's all we did for the rest of the day. Without Lisanna of course who must have left after everyone exploded on her angrily earlier.

When the final bell rang I offered to take luce home.

"Can I walk you to your dorm luce?"

She smiled at me and shook her head yes. We walked in silence for awhile, but it wasn't awkward more like just being comfortable in each other's presence.

"So when you gonna let me prove to you all guys aren't the same luce?"

She trip over her feet in surprise stumbling but righting herself before I had a chance to save her.

"I-I thought you forgot about that Natsu!"

She whipped around to me full on blush and all. I knew I'd caught her off guard and it was so worth it too.

"Nah was just waiting for the right time ya' know, while you weren't expecting it. Which by the priceless look on your face I definitely can tell you weren't."

She had stopped walking and I turned to face her slightly confused.

"S-so you w-w..we're serious about it?"

I laughed and smirked at her.

"Of course luce. So.. uhm.. how about I take you out Friday after school for dinner. And pick you up Saturday morning for some fun and exploring? I know some awesome spots for a picnic."

I waited for her answer getting anxious as she thought, we continued our walk to her dorm feeling like the minutes were becoming hours. I was almost sure she was going to say no now, she was thinking so long.

"Sure. I'd love too."

She smiled signature grin in place, I swear my heart skipped a beat and I blushed running my hand through my hair unsure of what to do now. But Lucy seemed to know she pecked me on the cheek, and turned to open her door. Before completely disappearing inside she stuck her head out.

"See you Friday Natsu."

Than luce shut the door leaving me to stand there in complete shock and bliss I touched my cheek where soft lips were just a second ago. What's happening to me? Am I becoming a softy who falls in love at first sight? I shook my head Clearing my thoughts. Ha! Hell no that's not happening in don't believe in that crap, love doesn't exist or my father wouldn't have left me and I wouldn't be living with my brother Zeref right now.

...Time skip two hours later...

Sprawled on the couch me and my flying, talking blue cat happy were munching out on some snacks, when Gray came stomping through the house. I had no option but to room with him since all the other dorms were full at the time, and we just never changed dorms. Why bother, to much effort.

"Geez you flame bastered can't you clean up after yourself?" Gray exclaimed to our wrappers and crumbs scattered around the dorms living room I shrugged.

"Iwo cween it up watter."

"Don't talk with your mouth full you disgusting pig!"

I cocked an eyebrow, usually Gray was here with us chowing down too.

"Stop being mean to Natsu Gray just because you're grumpy is no excuse."

Gray sighed and sat down. Running his hands through his hair.

"Sorry guys...... Juvia's just driving me nuts. She says she's trying to be less clingy to me after I brought it up and now she's barley talking to me and avoiding me like I'm the plague, because I had to open my damn big mouth and hurt her fricken' feelings cause I'm a jackass!"

I snickered at Grays girl problems.

"Just had to open your big mouth huh Gray."

He just shook his head and we sat there in tensed silence, until we all heard a ring tone going off and Grays head whipped up as he dug in his pockets he looked at the phone a split second than motioned he was going to his room to answer the call of his girlfriend Juvia. Damn he's got it bad. Ha I'll never get that damn wrapped up in a chick man, never. Than my mind drifted back to earlier. I touched my cheek before shaking my head. Nah and turned my head back to the TV spacing out.

Hello fellow readers I can't wait for Friday to come! What will happen on Natsu and Lucy's date? Why is Natsu so dense? And why is he living with Zeref? I must say I'm fully disappointed in myself for this awful chapter but I'm ready for the story to kick it in gear I have some awesome ideas to write and I'm moving this story so slow but not after next chapter thank God I put in some gruvia too so that makes me happy. But good bye for now.
