A bus ride

I've been at Fairytale for three days now and its been amazing. I never did get to show my magic, because Natsu and Gray destroyed Mirajane's classroom. Fighting over whos magic was best. Thank god it won't be repaired till next Wednesday. So I'm safe for now. I laid back on my bed and sighed well its Friday evening and I have no clue what to do. I fumbled around with my books when I heard a light tapping on my door. I ran over to answer. When I opened it Levy ran in smiling.

"Why hello Lucy dear. You know how long it took me to find your dorm room I had to bribe Mirajane with a date."
I blinked at Levy surprised to see her in my room. Levy walked deeper into my dorm.

"Wow lu-chan you've got quite the book collection." She gasped than picked up one of my favorite books.
"Oh my godd! Lucy this book isn't even for sale its a collectors item!! Lucy where'd you get it?"

I looked down knowing it was a gift from my deceased mother. A present from my father when they first married. It probably cost my father thousands of dollars.

"I....Uhm.... It was a gift from my mom."

Levy looked at me and than ran up to hug me.
"L..levy what are you doing?"
"Oh Lu-chan is your mom. Uh... Well not around anymore?"

I looked down to her surprised yet again this is happening to often lately.

"How? How did you know?"

"Well the look on our face. It was so sad. Sorry to be so forward."

I laughed.
"No Levy it's fine. You have a good eye." I smile at her reassuringly.

She laugh's this time. Than clears her throat.

"Well I'm not here to raid your books... Just yet. But I did come on a mission. My friends and I are all going to hang out. I was wondering if you'd like to join me? I mean unless your bed is needing your company more."

Levy says while looking at my slightly ruffled covers. I stop for a moment to think. Well...

"It's not like I'm doing anything anyways!" She gabs my hand than. And starts pulling me to the door. I grab my bag and follow obediently. We walk down my flight of stairs and head towards the boys dorms.

"Ahh... Levy? Not to ruin the whole myistic moment or anything but where are we going? Not the boys dorm right? You know we're not supposed to its in the rule book"

Levy stops and looks up at me slightly flushed.
"Oh where are my manners? I'm sorry Lu-chan I've not explained much have I? Well you see one of my friends his name is Jet and his brother Droy are throwing a new school year party like they always do. At their house of course they don't live on campous, so don't worry no rule breaking. All my friends are coming. Including Natsu."

She wiggles her eyebrows at me on that last part. I shudder why would she do that? Not like I care or anything. He's just some flame hog who's completely full of himself. Before I can ask she continues walking. We stop at a bus stop, and she sits down patting the spot beside her for me to do the same.

"Hey Levy? How far is your friends house?" I ask still feeling confused.

"Oh not far we could walk from here. But I'm feeling lazy right now so I thought we could take the bus. Unless you happen to own a vehicle?"

I shake my head no. Normaly father just had me escorted around with a driver. So I didn't need a vehicle.
"Didn't think so. Me either. My mom can't afford one for me yet. And she won't let me work right now so I can focus on school."
"Your mom sounds awesome Levy."

She smiles brightly and noddeds.

"Oh yeah my moms great. But she's kinda over bearing at times too. I'll introduce you two some day if you'd like Lucy."

"Yeah I'd love that."

We wait for about ten minutes until a bus finally shows up. Levy gives the drive her instructions and we're off. I fidget in my seat starting to feel a little nervous.
"It'll be okay Lu-chan I promise my friends will love you. Plus I think Gajeel likes you too so that's a plus for me. Gajeels a little rough on the outside but he's a very caring guy. You two will get a long just fine I'm sure of it." Levy gets up and walks to the driver without another word than comes back over to me.

The bus stops and Levy pulls me off with her. We approach a nice house not too big but not small either. There's loud music coming through the doors and windows. As we approach Levy gets out a cell phone and texts someone.

"Okay I text Erza we're here she's going to come out to greet us I guess."
Levy says checking her phone. Than she stops dead in her tracks and turns around holding her hand out.
I give her a quizzical look and she laughs.

"These parties can get a little wild so I'll need to put my number in your phone in case we get separated. Okay?" I dig in my skirt pocket handing her my phone she adds herself to it than continues her walk as we get closer a girl with red hair walls out. She was beautiful not to mention fierce looking as well, maybe a whole foot taller than I was with a beautiful party dress on making her look super gorgeous. I almost stop walking but Levy keeps her grip on my hand and practically drags me to the door.

"Hey Erza! This is Lucy, the girl I was telling you about. She's in my grade."

Erza turns to look at me I almost melt into my boots her stare was serious and scary really scary. Why oh why did I let Levy talk me into this I should have just stayed home. Who needs friend ones enough and Levy seems to like me I don't need anyone else. She looks down and smiled kindly changeing her disposition completely.

"Hello Lucy. My names Erza Scarlett nice to meet you."
