The day rolls on.

...Lucy's POV...

It's been a month since me and Natsu's date. Levy had drilled me that Sunday. It was funny. Me and Natsu are not together. But we are pretty much inseparable I will say that much and he always finds ways to sneak in my dorm. At which he's sleeping on my couch right now.

"Natsu what do you want for lunch? We only have twenty minutes before school so wake up and get ready."

I called over my shoulder while making lunch.

"Awww but luce. I'm so sleepy can't we stay home today?"
"You can if you want to but I'm not. I have some training to do with Mirajane and I'm not missing out."

He grumbled than rolled off the couch he kissed my cheek before going to my bathroom. I touched my cheek I'll never get use to that. No matter how many times he does it.

"I still can't believe how they except her. What do you think my sweet Bickslow dear?"

"I don't really care. Can we do something else besides watch her? It's boring and my babies are getting really bored.."

'Yes bored! Bored we are.'

"Fine let's go. I'm hungry anyways. Plus I need to find out when Natsu's party is. So we can crash it hardcore."

"Now you're talking Lisanna."

...Natsu's POV...

Big Bro: Hey you coming home tonight little bro. I got some awesome food cooked you can even bring your chickypoo.

I blushed at my brothers text messages he's been poking fun at me ever since I took Luce out for dinner that night guess the waiters told him I'm going to have to thump them all later.

Me: Yeah sure. But stop calling Luce my chickypoo. We're just friends bro.

Zeref: yeaahhh friends. I've never seen you bring just one friend out to eat it's usually all of you hell raisers. But you brought one and it was a pretty hot chick from what I'm told.

Now I was slightly angry had one of my brothers employees found luce attractive? I mean yes she was beyond that but I didn't want anyone else looking at her. Why am I so upset?

Me: tell your little waiter buddies. Hands off! She's mine got it?

Zeref: damn little bro jealous much? Don't worry she's to young for them just be here tonight okay? Bring Lucy too. See you later love ya bro.

I stared at my screen a minute. Am I jealous? Of what I guess technically luce isn't mine. I just can't her out I'm a little afraid she'd tie me down and not on purpose but just by being herself she's so much fun and always keeps things interesting plus she's attractive amount other things. I need to stop thinking my heads starting to hurt. I looked up at the very person causing my headache. She was laughing at Elfman and Gray h as Ving a lifting contest and Gray was losing horribly.

"Hey luce?"

She looked at me and smiled. Geez her smile will kill me one day.

"Oh hey. What's up Natsu? "

"Wanna come to my house for dinner my brother invited me and asked me to bring some company so I thought you'd like to go since you love food and all...."

I trailed off. She laughed so hard I'd thought she'd fall out of her seat.

"If you wanted me to go on a date with you all you needed to do was ask no need to word it like that silly. I'd love to go."

The bell rang and she popped up and kissed my cheek before walking out I touched my cheek and smiled. Until Gray bumped my arm.

"Ha you look like an idiot flame brain. With that grin on your face I think you're in loveeee."

I punched his arm and ran off, catching up to luce.

I cleared my throat behind her to catch her attention. When she turned around she giggled.

"Why is your face all scrunched up Natsu? You like like you're going to be sick."
I relaxed so I could bring up the subject of my brother. It was hard to talk about this kind of stuff with luce. And I didn't want my brother saying stupid stuff with her there without Lucy knowing what was going on at least.

"Come on I'll drive us."

As we drove to my house I explained the situation to luce. She hid her face the whole time showing just how embarrassed she was. I couldn't help but laugh her blushing was just to cute and I couldn't resist.

"So your brother thinks I'm you girlfriend? But how can I face him now?"
"Nah he knows you're not but don't be surprised if he cracks some jokes. I just wanted to give you a heads up that's all."

She nodded her head and I pulled into our gated driveway. As I did I watched Lucy's face she lit up and turned to me.
"Your house is beautiful Natsu! I don't know why you're always at my place or your own. Just Would Never Want to leave."
She beamed at me. I parked and rubbed my gead. Ahhhhh it's nothing.
As we walked inside I was greeted by Fawn our cleaner of messes and helper.

"Sup Fawn? Haven't seen ya in awhile. How's our mop been?"

She nodded her head and flushed before commenting she was fine and my brother was in the dinning hall. Luce gave me a questioned look.

"I'll tell you later Luce."

...Time skip dinner...

"So I hear you and my brother Natsu are quite smitten with each other Ms. Lucy."

I saw her freeze from eating and look up slowly.

"Well uh-uhm Y-yes we are very good friends."

Zeref laughed than shook his head slightly.

"I heard he took you out to eat as well. Alone of course he never does that I wonder why?"
He turned to me than and I shot him a death glare. The rest of the night was pretty much awful Zeref tried to get me to confess my feelings which I refused because I didn't even know what they were and made Luce feel completely uncontrollable as well while driving home we drove in silence. Until we got to her dorm. As she got out I stayed in the car.
She turned around.

"You coming?" I smiled and got out. Yeah this was good enough for now. Until I can figure out what b I'm feeling at least. Or unless Lucy strikes first anyways but I'm content just bring like this for the moment. I crashed on the couch knowing I'd wake up next to luce which she didn't really seem to care a whole anymore. As I snuggled in I popped up a little remembering something.

"Good night luce."

"Good night Natsu."
