...Lucy's POV...

September was here which meant I had been planning Natsu's Birthday for a whole month now it was on the 22nd of the month and today was the 20th I didn't have much longer. I kicked Natsu outta my dorm for the last two weeks as to have time to plan and prepare without his knowing of course Natsu pouted for awhile. I remember his reaction now.

... Time skip ...

"What do you mean you're throwing me out! But.. but luce I thought you liked me being here."

With his pouting face I almost decided to change my mind. Stay strong Lucy this is for Natsu and it's only till after his birthday!

"I do Natsu I swear but I have a lot of studying and work I gotta get caught up on and having you here is a distraction. It's only until I get get caught up okay? Than you can come back."

... Time skip present...

I've watched him pouted for two weeks now. He even told Gray that I must have a boyfriend because I never had a problem studying with him at my place before. I did feel bad but the threats from Erza and Levy made it clear I had no option. Cana stayed with me since we were the more artistic out of the group. With only a few days left we had pretty much completed our tasks the cake was being made tomorrow the decorations were done and the invites had been sent I even used some magic to create a little stuffed dragon for Natsu and it's was amazing. If you wound it up it even breathed fake blue fire. I hope he likes it. His party would be at Levy's house her mom had been more than happy to let us use her home and I guess from what Levy said she had been super excited to meet me as well. As I headed out and locked my door there laying on the ground was the man that had consumed my thoughts for the month.

"Hiya Natsu. What are you doing laying on the floor outside my dorm?"

He didn't roll over only hunched into a little ball. Pouting even more.

"If you don't have a boyfriend than why did ya kick me out luce?"

I sighed he wouldn't leave it alone but I only had two more days than he could come back.

"Geez Natsu I told you it's only until I can catch up on my studying than you can come back. If I really didn't want you here don't you think I would of made you take all your stuff too?"

He faced me now and sat up. I held out my hand and he took it getting off my porch. I started down the stairs at which he followed with ease. I was on my way to Mira's since her boyfriend demanded we be there today for some odd reason considering I've only met him like once.

"So you're really not mad at me luce?"

I turned to him a smiled sweetly.

"Oh Natsu no matter how hard I try I can't be mad at you so calm down okay? We need to get going its almost 7 alright?"

"Why 7?"

I sighed deeply but what should I expect from Natsu.

"Remember Mira said that her boyfriend wanted us to all come over Thursday do you remember anything you big dummy."

He scratched his head and looked down embarrassed.

"It's not my fault luce I just can't seem to remember all the time plus Zeref's been so busy lately I've been running around doing his errands and stuff."

Now I felt bad but we needed to hurry to Mira's house before we were late.

Riinnggg rinnggg

I dug through my bag for my phone.

Oh my god Lucy where are you and Natsu? You just missed some big announcement by Mira's boyfriend he purposed to her! Get your butts over here!

With that Levy hung up and because I was to busy getting Natsu motivated I missed Mira's proposal. I grabbed the big dummies hand and ran as fast as my legs would allow with a reluctant follower. How was it supposed to know he'd give the announcement early it was only 6:35. When we arrived the first thing that happened was Mira shoved her tiny hand in my fave with a huge rock attached to it.

"Oh Lucy isn't it beautiful! I couldn't have asked for a better fiancé!"

We all squealed over her new status as an engaged women.

....Time Skip....

"Can you believe Laxus asked Mirajane to marry him?"

Gray asked Natsu. We all decided to go to the boys dorms since it was cold and all the girls dorms had Natsu birthdays stuff stashed in them. As we ascended the stairs and Gray opened the door everyone piled in leaving me and Natsu for last. I started forward when my hand was pulled back. I turned to see Natsu looking down kinda sadly.

"H-hey I'm sorry for making us late for the engagement luce."

I patted his hand and smiled at him.
"No its alright Natsu honest. You didn't know what was going to happen neither did I so all is forgiven."

He still refused to look up at I grabbed his chin and pecked a kiss on his cheek. He blushed at me before pulling me into a huge hug. I blushed than Geez when it's me doing something sappy I can take it but when it's Natsu I turned into a little weak legged girl how pathetic right. We lingered for a second. When Gray called out.

"Hey you two love birds coming in of not? I ordered pizza. But if you'd rather sit out there and play kissy kissy we can eat it with out you."

I smaked my forehead.

"The hell you will Gray I'll steal the pizza and run. And we're not playing kissy kissy."

I followed a stomping Natsu inside and shut the door. I sighed happily and stared at all my new friends which felt more like family now.

"Something wrong Lucy?"

Levy asked worried while sitting on Gajeels lap snuggly. I shook my head no and smiled.

I love my home now and I'm never leaving. Ever.
