Third POV
Ashlynn's eyes fluttered open. Her head pounded from the horrible hangover she had, clutching it in pain. She never drinks, but she decided to let loose for once.
The sun peeked through the dark curtains of Damon's gloomy room, giving just a small amount of sunlight.
Ashlynn's slid off the bed lightly, looking to the table on the side of the bed. Damon had left aspirin and orange juice. "Thanks, jackass." she commented, throwing the pills in her mouth and drinking.
Ash tried to hurry home, not saying hello to the Salvatores downstairs or even Elena. "Going somewhere, wolfie?" Damon called from the living room. Ashlynn tried to put her converse on quickly, but Damon was quicker to her side.
"I'm going home," Ash bluntly said.
"With what ride? I drove yesterday, or did you forget from all that drinking last night?" Damon puckered his lips and tilted his head, getting a rise out of Ash.
Stefan and Elena followed behind Damon, looking to the werewolf girl. "Um, so I have information." Elena told the girl, looking into her tired eyes. Ashlynn immediately straighten her posture and folded her arms over her chest. The air in the room become suffocatingly quiet.
"I'm listening."
-------
"How does this Klaus guy involve Katherine?" Ashlynn asked, sitting on the sofa while the others stood.
"Katherine knows him, or knew." Elena told Ashlynn, the brothers waiting for her reaction. "She also told me that..." she paused and took a breather. "Klaus had portraits of you. I asked her about you and what you have to do with this, not even she knows. The soul mate thing is confusing." Ashlynn leaned back on the couch. The worry was now switched from Elena to Elena and Ashlynn. The gang felt a need to protect Ashlynn from Klaus, hearing the rough stories of him and his past.
"Elijah is dead, Klaus' route to us has ended, he can't and won't find us." Ashlynn confidently told the three.
Little did Ashlynn know, that Elijah was very much alive. The wooden stake was useless against an original, but only the silver dagger dipped in white oak ash can "kill" them.
"I'm going home," Ashlynn stood up and looked to Damon. Damon knew she'd ask for a ride, so he trailed behind her.
------
Ashlynn unlocked the door to the manor. Voices spoke from the kitchen as Ashlynn approached, she slowly walked as she'd got closer.
"Yeah, Ashlynn seems to be elsewhere at the moment." Carol told Jules.
"Well if you see her, please let me know." Jules smiled at the human, grabbing her bag and starting walking to the door. As soon as Ash heard Jules' voice, she tried to dash upstairs, but Jules saw her before her escape was made.
"Ash!" Jules said smiling, looking to Ashlynn as she was halfway upstairs. Ashlynn really didn't want to see Jules even though she aided her way here, not voluntarily anyway. "Hey Jules.." Ashlynn warily commented, slowly walking back down watching as Carol waved to her. "Jules is your friend?" Carol asked her niece. Jules gave Ashlynn a look where she had to follow behind her.
"Yeah, um, I'll be heading out so-"
"You just gotten back!"
"Well Jules and I need catching up to do."
-------
The forest was mildly cool, the trees covered up the sun as it went to it's highest.
Ashlynn walked beside Jules with hands in her pockets. Jules lead her farther into the forest where a surprise was near.
"Why did you take me here?" Ashlynn asked, curious on why she was taken here. A trailer suddenly came into view, a man standing outside smiled at Jules. As Jules greeted her boyfriend, someone opened the trailer door and stepped out.
Ashlynn stood speechless, almost trembling with anger.
"Greyson."
"Hey, baby. Missed me? 'Cause I sure missed you."This chapter is so bad and I apologize but my writing sucks hahdh
