Ashlynn hasn't been that same since she seen Klaus. Even if she doesn't remember, a part of her was shaken from what happened. She was going to school today though, she was going to make everyone believe she is okay, just like Elena had done when her parents had passed away.

Slinging her book bag over her shoulder and walking into her school, looking through the hallways to see people who were busy preparing for the decade dance soon. Ashlynn didn't want to go, she had no date and she has always hated dances. Walking into Alaric's classroom gave off a bad vibe, Ashlynn felt a sudden pull making her gasp "Hey, you okay?" Stefan asked Ashlynn as they made their way to their seats "Peachy. Just peachy." she replied.

Alaric or better known as Klaus in Alaric's body entered the room putting down his things "Hello class, ahem, what...are we learning today?" he asked the class, Ashlynn burying her head in her textbook. "With the decade dance tonight, we've been covering the sixties all week." Klaus looked up and smiled "Right. The sixties." Klaus scanned the room and finally laid his eyes on Elena, the doppelganger, moving his eyes back to the board "The, uh, ahem...the sixties. I wish there was something good I could say about the sixties, but...actually. They kind of sucked."

Upon Alaric saying those words, Ashlynn raised her head from her book, almost angry he had insulted one of her favorite decades. She slumped back and waited for him to continue "Except The Beatles of course, they made it bearable. What else was there? The Cuban missile thing, the--we walked on the moon, there was Watergate." Ashlynn took it upon herself to correct her favorite teacher getting on her nerves today "Actually, Mr.Saltzman Watergate was in the seventies."

Klaus' head snapped in her direction, he was in shock she was actually here, right in front of him. He wanted to just run up and kiss her like they had shared two nights ago, but he wasn't in his right head at the moment so that had to wait. "Of course, thank you, Ashlynn." he smiled and carried the lesson back on, continually asking her questions during class about her favorite parts of the decade just to hear her honey sweet voice.

Time throughout the day passed, going to lunch where Elena had dragged Ashlynn to sit with her and Bonnie. Ashlynn placed her bowl of salad on the table as she sat.

"So, how are you feeling? You know, with Klaus and all?" Bonnie had asked Ashlynn while she picked at her food.

"I'm fine. The Klaus guy's not going to get me, neither is that stupid alpha." she said, Damon already filled them in on what was happening with Ashlynn and Grey, but she didn't care. Dana came running up to their table "Oh there you are Ashlynn okay, this is going to sound freaky, but this totally hot guy just asked me to ask you if you're going to the dance tonight." the girls simply laughed at Dana.

"Tell him she isn't interested," Bonnie told Dana.

"You could at least meet him. He'll be at the dance tonight, look for him, his name's Klaus."

Their smiles dropped to fear, especially Ashlynn's.

"Is he here?" Ash asked absolutely terrified as she looked around the crowded lunch room.  Dana just paused "I don't know.." she trailed off. Stefan came over once listening into their conversation. Ashlynn shook a bit as Stefan and Elena held her and escorted her from the cafeteria.

The gang was at the boarding house, Ashlynn was still shaking but Damon was trying to calm her down. Damon still felt horrible from what he had done to her. He wasn't planning on losing her as friend.

"So we go to the dance and we kill him." Damon announced to them.

"Really? How are we going to do that? We don't even know what he looks like." Stefan asked him.
