Chapter 1: New Beginnings

...!!! Zoryna POV !!!...

"Ugh" I woke up from the same dream I've been having the past year since that day. I walked to the bathroom and looked into the mirror. I see my face so worned out. My purple eyes a little dull and my cocoa skin as well. I raked my hair through my long black wavy hair and sighed.  When I got out of the portal, I realized I had landed on earth. I just couldn't believe it out of all places, I had to land on earth. At the moment, I somewhat knew I lost my parents, family, and my whole planet as well.

When I gotten up, I realized there was some type of rundown cabin in front of me.The first thing I did was run inside and cried on a couch that was in the living room. That same night I had a dreams that my parent had showed up in. They told me to look at the book in my bag, also to keep the sword because it will be of use for means to use and not to cry anymore because they are in a better place and everything happens for a reason so I will soon figure it out. That was last time I had shed tears for them. The next couple of days, I fixed the cabin a bit so I can make it homely for myself. After a week of tiding, I had sat down in the living room looking at my bag. I took out a big book with a couple of envelope.

I opened the book and I saw my parents handwriting. My parents explained what was going to happen the next couple of months and what I expected to do. At first, it was hard for me to accept but I knew that my parents didn't die for no reason if they didn't believe I couldn't do it. I was going to prove them right by saving humanity. Then I had got up and went outside and put a forcefield around the cabin so it won't be seen from anyone and people won't detect it as well.

I got out of the bathroom and went to make breakfast. You guys are probably wondering how do I get my things and food that I would need. Well I would just have them deliver from the store in the nearby towns. Anyway I went to the back of the house and started practicing. I made the backyard into a place where I can practice my powers where I never knew I had before. Well first thing is I have wings which is not surprising since people on my planet had wings but not everybody though. The things about my wings they are all white like angels and they can disappear into my back as tattoos. Whenever I'm ready to use them, they can reappear as well. I'm also a seer and I can know things about a person by one touch. Sometimes vision appear to me when needed the most. I have purple energy balls coming from my hands and I can form them into any weapons I want. I can freeze people at a couple of minutes the most. I have also telekinesis, so I can even move people. My last power is that I can heal people but I can't do it on myself. I learned all this from my parents telling me in the book.

I had practice my powers on people in town sometimes since it took me a while to get a hold of it. I have healed people when they really hurt and bad but it would be when no one was around and they had to be unconscious as well. I have frozen a couple as well to see how long it takes. I have moved people if they were about to get hurt or something or if I knew they deserved it since some people are mean if you know what I mean. Now I'm just practicing on my dummies that I've made just using the karate skills I learned in town because it good to use your physical strength and not just your powers just in case you can't rely on them sometimes. Right I was just about to punch, I had a vision.

...!!! Izabella POV !!!...

"Hey Aria, What's up Conner?!, you guys ready for lunch I'm starving and what took you guys so long?!!!"

"Hey Izzy, Conner over here decided was the day to be clumsy and dropped everything out of his bag and locker. I had to help him pick up his stuff"

"Heeeey!!!! look it's not my fault that I get so much homework and come on let's go to the courtyard because my mom made me some good lunch today"

We all left the hallway and went to the courtyard . You're probably wondering who I am. Well my name is Izabella but people call me Izzy and my best friends are Aria and Conner. Well I'm part of the Shadow Raven Pack and so are my best friends but we go to a human school since of course the town is mixed with both humans and wolves. The only thing is that I'm the younger sister of the Alpha.

We went and sat down in a secluded area a couple of feet away from the school. "So Izzy are you ready for your birthday in 3 months?! you are going to be the big 16, I can't wait for it, we going to need to go shopping and buy some new dresses and Conner you can come to if you want and get something nice for once", says Aria

"What do you mean?! I always have nice clothes, just because I'm not all fashionable like you guys don't mean anything isn't that right Izzy?"

"Weeeeelllll...... I'm just kidding but leave him alone Aria, he can wear whatever he want and yes I can't wait-

Next thing you know we started seeing men popping everywhere. There were about twenty of them. We three got scared at them because they had black eyes that were dark and scary. At that moment, we knew they were evil people.

"Hey get these two people out of here, we are just here for that girl"

Two of the scary men grabbed Aria and Conner and started tying them up while the two were struggling. I knew we were in trouble so I decided to send my brother a mind link before something terrible happens to us.

"Brother help there are scary men after me and my friends, we are in the school courtyard HURRY!"

Next thing I know one of them took me up by the arm and the men had surrounded us in a circle and started chanting some type of language. Then a force field had roses up and I started seeing some of the students and teacher coming out to see what was happening.

"ok be a nice little girl and we won't hurt you that much"

The men put his hand on my forehead and started chanting something and I was thinking my brother better get here fast.

"fio mar ti so donte ray"

Next thing I knew I was consumed into the dark.

...!!! Zoryna POV !!!...

"Ugh" She in trouble. They finally came after her. Now it's time to gear up and show them that I'm there to protect her. I put on my all black everything outfit on with my black boots and also my black leather half gloves to protect my hands when fighting. I went outside and made my wings appear out. my wings are kind of huge and spread out widely. I went up in the air and flew where the girl was in trouble. It took a while to get there and the scene was crazy. I see the demons trying to get the girls blood with a needle.  I knew I needed to break down that force field.

I stood above the force field and started chanting words to break it down. Then I held my hand out and a purple laser beam had shot out to the beam. As I kept enchanting, the beam broke through the force field and it shattered. The demon that were holding up the force field fell down. I flew down in the middle, made my wings disappeared and shaped my energy ball into a long pole. The demons were stunned at first.

"Attack her, what are you waiting for?", one of the demo says. There were about 20 demons so I knew I can handle them on my own. The first four came at me at the same time. I took the long pole and swing it through them and they turn into ashes after i split them in half. The next couple came and I had sliced them. Then one came behind me while one in front had slapped me. I had put the pole through his heart. Then I flipped above the guy behind me and sliced his head off. Next thing I knew, all of the demons came attacking and I'm just slicing body parts while they are turning into ashes. After I was finish, there were two demons left, and one of them had a little tube of the girl's blood, but they had disappear before I gotten to them

I turned around and went to the girl and boy who were tied up. They looked very scared and panicked. "Don't worry I won't hurt you, I came here to save you guys."

"Thanks you we appreciated it", the girl says. We walked toward the girl. The boy started to speak, "Is she dead?, Will you be able to save her-

I hear and see a pack of wolves running towards us. "Go tell them that I'm going to wake her up and she'll be fine. They started running towards the wolves who shifted back into humans.

I had put my hand on her forehead. "Mari de cava yo". She opened her eyes and start panicking. "it's fine you're safe now". I helped her up to her feet. "What about my friends?". "They are over there with your pack members, anyway be safe and always watch your back too". I turned to leave.

"Wait.... Who are you?"

"In due time, You will know." I made my wings appear and flew back home.
