"Oh man, I can't wait wait for school to END!" Luke said. " Yea me too. Oh all the plans we have. We HAVE to get them ALL done." Erik responded. " Yea we better."
They walked up the school bus's steps, and stepped in. Man oh man it was a zoo in there. Pure chaos! kids yelling, paper airplanes, teenagers listening to music full blast. It looked like they could never get a spot on this bus. The twins walked down the bus isle trying to find a spot. They walked all the way to the very back of the bus, and they FINALLY found a spot that was empty. Luke sat right beside the window, and Eric sat beside him.
Eric looked up and saw the bus driver's mirror and he saw that the bus driver spoke something in the loudspeaker mic. But nobody could here it because it was too loud. But the bus driver just shrugged. He started the engine and closed the door. Then off they were, away from school.
The bus driver drove off of the school's street and on the highway. Eric looked over Luke and saw that the highway was really busy. The bus kept driving until they got to a stop light. There were many cars that were crossing. More cars came. Then more. At least 5 minutes past when more cars came. And the stop light was still red. " OH MY GOSH! HOW MANY FLIPPEN CARS ARE THERE!?" Eric said. Just then one teenager connected a small boom box and connected it to his phone. He then started playing music.
" Turn that off!" A little kid about 6 ordered. " NO I LIKE IT!" another kid said. Then a war over that started. Which made the chaos even more chaotic. Luke chuckled. Eric looked up at the stoplight again. And FINALLY it turned from red to green. And the bus went forward. Kids cheered.
The bus didn't get too far until a little girl screamed, " Watch out!!" everybody turned their heads to the direction the little girl was pointing.
A semi truck was at least 10 yards away. Everyone screamed as the semi truck hit the back of the bus where Eric and Luke were. Luke and Eric locked eyes. And time started to slow down. Everything was slow motion. Then everything was glass and metal. people screamed. Eric could tell that the bus tipped over. He couldn't see anything. Kids and teenagers fell on him. He felt like he was crushed.
Then something sharp impaled his arm. He blacked out.
