Chapter 21

Xavier's Pov.

I slugged back to my house and sat on the front steps. 

I slouched over and cried into my knees. 

I needed him back.

My father opened the front door and I felt his eyes on me.

"Son, what happened." He asked me.

"Nothing, i'm just being a cry baby." I said back in a rude tone. 

My father stepped back inside and closed the door. 

I shivered as a cool breeze glided across my back. 

I only had a shirt on. 

I looked up at the darkening sky and cried out softly. 

My darling were are you?

Evan's Pov.

It had been only a few hours and yet I was going insane. 

I had tried to stand up, to try to escape, but I was chained to this bed. 

I heard her open my "cell" door.

"Are you okay in there? Anything you need?" She asked me, crouching down and looking at me like I was a small child.

"I want to see outside of my window, but I can't because of these restraints. Could you loosen them?" I asked her.

She rolled her eyes.

"I'm not new to this. I know you're just trying to escape." She frowned at me.

"No, please. I won't I promise." My lower lip quivered as her nose scrunched up.

"Fine. But if you struggle. I'll hurt you." She hissed. 

I nodded as she undid my restraints and led me over to the window. 

It was locked and glued down, no use in trying to escape this way.

I looked up at the sky and saw a star.

I held my hands together in a fist like way and closed my eyes.

I wished upon that star for Xavier to find me.

Though I know I can't just depend on him, but I hope he finds me.

I opened them again to see Stella looking at me with seductive eyes.

"Don't come near me Stella." I warned her.

She puckered her lips and came a bit closer.

I never wanted this. 

She grabbed my shoulders firmly and kissed me on the lips. 

I didn't know what to do.

Then it came upon me to do something.

I lifted my knee up swiftly enough to hit her in the stomach very hard. 

She grunted in pain and fell on the floor. 

I looked at her. 

Her eyes were shut and she was motionless.

I jumped over her and ran to the door, getting out and running down the street. 

I kept on running, not knowing where I was or where to go. 

I needed to get back to him.
