Chapter 25

Xavier's Pov

I raced into the hospital.

It felt like a life or death situation for me.

Was he the one that had died? 

I swerved and stood in front of the receptionist. 

This wasn't the first time i'd been here, I knew she remembered me.

"Where is Evan?" I asked her.

She relayed the room to me, 2783.

I was told to be calm and walk, though I just couldn't wait to get to see him.

I sped walked towards his room and looked in, there was a bed, with a white sheet covering the person under it.

Immediate fear sunk in and I opened the door. 

I walked up to the sheet and bit my lip. 

I looked around and heard a ruffle from the next bed over.

A sheet was covering AROUND this bed. 

I pulled it back a little bit to see my lovely sitting there eating crackers.

My mouth flew open as I looked at him.

"E-Evan?" I asked.

He lifted his head up and smiled.

"Hey babe." His eyes were at peace and he smiled softly.

I sat down beside him, shaking slightly. 

"I... I..." I choked me up.

"I understand." He nodded his head.

I grabbed his hand and held it tight and sobbed loudly.

His arm wrapped around me and pulled me closer to him. 

I laid beside him in his bed and felt him stroke my head.

"I love you so much." He whispered into my ear, kissing my head.

"Are you h-hurt?" I stuttered, still crying.

"No. I was lucky. My car just grazed the accident." He confirmed to me.

Relief was all I felt.

Evan's Pov.

I was so lucky.

It was a miracle. 

Nothing wrong had happened to me. 

I relayed what had happened after the crash as Xavier was in my arms.

I smiled to myself as I continued to stroke his head. 

"I'll be out of here tomorrow. Go home for now babe." I asked him.

He lifted his head slightly, yawning and looking at me sincerely. 

"Come to my house when you get out tomorrow." He asked as he stood up. 

He smiled lightly and slowly walked away. 

~Next Day!~

I excited the hospital in a wheel chair (classic) and got into my dads car.

Stuart opened the back door and instantly threw his arms around my neck. 

"Brother!" He cried as I hugged him back.

"You're okay Stuart?" I asked him.

He smiled and nodded, moving over to let me in the car.

"Time to go home." My dad announced a few minutes later after getting into the car.

"Wait... Xavier asked me to go over to his house. Can you drop me off dad?" I pleaded.

He looked back at me and sent me a soft smile.

"Sure son. I'll pick you up at 5." He replied before driving off towards Xavier's house. 

Once I got there, I had a feeling that Xavier had something special planned for us to do.

I looked up at his familiar house and entered it.

"Xavier?" I called out to him as I walked up the stairs towards his room.

I opened his bedroom door and saw him smiling at me as he sat on his bed.

Was he trying to say something....

I looked into his eyes as he stood up and came towards me. 

He hugged me tightly as he led me towards his bed.

"Wait wait wait. I just got out of the hospital and you want to have sex?" I could see where this was leading.

"Wait what!" He blushed a deep shade of red.

"Hey. I'm an injured mannnn." I pouted.

"I don't want to have sex with you. That's still a touchy thing for me... But no, I just want to lay beside you." His face went even redder as he laid us down beside each other on his bed.

Did I ever mention his bed is a queen sized bed placed in the middle of his room?

No?

Well now you know.

But anyways, we just laid on his bed. 

On his silky red sheets as the sun lightly shone through his white curtains. 

I felt him slither his arms around me as we moved closer to each other.

We were finally at peace. 

"I can hear your heart beat." He told me as he rested his head up against my chest.

I smiled down at him as he breathed in my scent slowly.

"I've missed you." He said.

"I have too." 

"I love you."

"I love you too."

There was an silence.

"Don't leave me again Evan."

I smiled a cheeky smile and sat up.

He followed my lead as I looked right into his gorgeous eyes.

"How can I when I can't even take my eyes off of you darling?"
