Chapter Two; Movies
Chapter Song: Can't Stand It by Never Shout Never

I let my long brown hair out from it's pony tail and get out my curling iron. I let my hair ever so nicely curl into perfect ringlets. Once I've done the whole thing I shake it up a little to make the curls seem more effortless and natural. I then head downstairs. "Someone's up late," Toulouse said from his spot on the couch not looking up from his phone.

"Well, it's only 1," I reply heading to the pantry. "Do you want some oatmeal and warm milk?" I ask. "Okay just because we're named after cats doesn't mean we need to eat like them too," Toulouse says. I just roll my eyes. "Well I happen to think it's adorable that they named us after cats," I tell him. "Yeah, yeah," he replies having herd it a thousand times.

I just shrug and go back to making my what I guess I should call my lunch. I scoop some into a bowl and leave the rest in the pot. I take a seat at the counter and start eating. I'm not paying much attention to anything really. Just zoning out. I jump slightly when suddenly Luke is right in front of me taking a bite of my oatmeal.

"There's a whole pot over there," I tell him. "Okay," he says scooping another spoonful of oatmeal into his mouth. I just roll my eyes at him. "Come on now, rolling your eyes is rude," he says joking with me. My cheeks heat up slightly and I say, "Rude or sassy?" He decided to respond, in the tootsie-roll pop voice might I add, with, "the world may never know." I giggle lightly at his comment.

"Okay Luke, ready to get your game on? I'm so gonna kick your ass in a game of Fifa," Toulouse says getting up from his place on the couch. Luke says something witty back I'm sure, I've just zoned out before he did.  After I'm done eating I scamper up the stairs and curl up with a book the sounds of the boys slowly fading away.

I'm broken away from my book when Toulouse is knocking at my doorway. "Mai-mar," he says begging me for attention. I hold up my finger and finish reading the page. Once finished I mark it and look up at my brother. "Yes?" I ask. "Luke and I are watching Lilo and Stitch want to join us?" It's a normal thing for them to watch movies and ask me to watch as well. My usual answer is yes though I'm hesitant because Lilo and Stitch is like a huge cry fest.

"Are you coming?" He asks after a few minutes of silence. I nod. He turns and heads downstairs. I get up and put my book down before heading for the living room. Toulouse takes his normal place in his chair and Luke and I on either side of the couch before he hits 'play'.

My tights aren't providing that much warmth and Toulouse and I don't have enough money to crank the heat so I stand up in search of a blanket. "What're you doing?" Toulouse asks rolling his eyes. "I'm cold," I reply. "Then why don't you put on some clothes, instead of interrupting the movie!" He complains. "Shush," I tell him, "there is nothing wrong with short skirts."

"Especially when you wear them," Luke whispers under his breath, too quiet for Toulouse to hear. But I sure as hell did and I can feel the heat rise in my cheeks. Finally getting a blanket and settling down on the middle of the couch with my blanket.

Throughout the movie Luke is gradually moving closer and closer. I don't think he wants to just take the leap of faith and scooch all the way over in fear Toulouse might catch on to what he's doing. Honestly, Luke is super f.ucking attractive and we'd all hop on that given the chance but he's Tou-tou's best friend. And well, Toulouse gets really big brother protective and that's not a bad thing. It's actually really cute.

Well it's really cute until you have a crush on his best friend. But here we are. Sharing a blanket might I add. The movie is nearly over and my eyelids are growing heavy. I try and situate myself a little resulting in Luke putting his arm around me and me resting my head on his chest.
