8. Realize

My feet hit the ground hard, sending a chilling sensation through my ankles. But my mind was spinning while repeating one phrase over and over.

I've got to find Natsu.

I took off, looking down every alley and street.

I slammed into someone, sending me flying back.

"(Y/n)! Watch where you're going!" the blonde haired celestial mage exclaimed.

"Lucy!" I yelled, breathless, "Where's Natsu?"

She blinked, surprise overtaking her features.

"You mean, you guys are friends now?"

I stiffened, understanding her words.

How could I just suddenly be unafraid of him? I don't...

My thoughts went in that direction while my mouth thought otherwise.

"Because he very persuasive."

She let out a giggle.

I stood there for a few seconds before blowing up on her.

"I ASKED YOU WHERE HE WAS!"

For some odd reason, she started having a fit of laughter, making me sigh and attempt to walk away.

"Wait," she said with a giggle slipping through, "He's in the guild hall. We just got it fixed."

I let a grateful smile lace over my lips as I nodded.

"Thanks, Lucy."

I dashed away, leaving a cloud of dust behind me.

Just as I reached the hall, the entire building exploded, sending me flying into a building.

Ebony blurred my vision as I sunk to the ground, my body screaming in pain.

The guild hall was demolished. (I feel so bad for it XD That's twice now)

Natsu was inside.

Involuntarily, I rose on shaky knees, terror running through my veins.

"NATSU!" I screamed, limping as quickly as I could toward the rubble.

I tripped several times, my legs begging me to stop.

But I couldn't. Not until I knew that Natsu was safe. That he was alive.

Burning ribbons slid down my cheeks as the hope inside of me started to melt away.

A large crowd had gathered around, gawking at the sight.

"NATSU! WHERE ARE YOU?! ANSWER ME, PLEASE!" I cried out at the top of my lungs.

Someone snatched me from behind, and by the heat of the touch, I knew it wasn't Natsu.

I was behind a rather large piece of the guild, and a bag was placed over my head.

"Nat... su..." I murmured as my vision went black.

--NATSU'S POV--

Pain struck every limb in my body as I rose to my feet.

A cloud of dust covered the area, making worry strike my core.

What happened? Did the guild hall just explode?

Again? (XD)

I heard a distant shout. Someone was calling my name. (Y/n).

I tried to call out, but my voice was thin and quiet.

I saw a scuffle a couple meters away from me.

One had a bag over her head. Another was trying to drag her away.

"(Y/N)!" my voice was clear and firm as I called for the girl being taken away.

The one taking her froze and turned toward me.

I couldn't see very well, but I could see that he was young. He had short black hair and dark gray eyes. He was an adult, but childhood lingered in his features.

He dropped (y/n), preparing for a fight.

I let a smirk curl over my mouth.

--(Y/N)'S POV--

It'd only been about ten or so minutes since I was kidnapped.

There were flashes of fire. Lots of it. Only sometimes the flashes were dark and gray, while the others were red and orange.

I pulled the soft bag off of my head and saw the dreadful sight unfolding in front of me.

Natsu was fighting a boy slightly older than me. He had...

The figure looked at me, and the whole world froze.

I could feel my heart stop. My mind quit working.

I fell backwards, my way of life changing completely.

Natsu noticed and glared at the figure.

"You sick bastard. Who are you?!" he exclaimed angrily.

The figure cloaked in back tsked and gave him a menacing grin.

"You wanna know? Fine, but if it affects poor little (y/n) over there, its on you."

"JUST TELL ME SO I CAN KICK YOUR ASS!"

"My name is Kentaro (l/n). I'm (y/n)'s older brother."

Me: HOLY SHIT THIS IS EPIC.

Natsu: you've gotta quit with the cliffhangers, Kita...

Akita: anyway, I want to write a story that you guys probably wouldn't expect from me. A Yandere. It would be an original story, no Rin or Ed or Kirito.

Kirito: wtf.

Akita: HOWEVER. I want to write it with someone. Or two. There will be two ways to win. 1. GUESS WHAT THE KIRITO REFERENCE IS IN THIS STORY.
